My daughter lacked confidence in math throughout elementary school. She was good at it, but always questioned herself. I decided to have her start in grade 7 and she is now in high school. It has made a huge difference. She no longer lacks confidence and is now saying "this is so easy." Mathanasium has given her the tools to succeed in math. I definitely recommend them to anyone whose child struggles or wants to gain confidence in their abilities. Thanks so much!

Mathnasium Pickering has helped my daughter Daniela Lawrence to achieve excellent academic marks in grade 10 and grade 11, she will be returning to finish up her grade 12 math tutoring at mathnasium Pickering. Horace Mc Person and his staff are very educated and wonderful tutorial tutors, I highly recommend friends and family to get math tutoring at Mathnasium Pickering to help their kids mark if needed, they'll be very happy with their kids progress in school.

Being a student at Mathnasium, I found that I was more comfortable with making mistakes and allowing them to be a part of my learning process. I took this opportunity to ask more questions and ensure that I understood the concepts I was struggling with. I greatly appreciated my tutor, Jey, as he helped me to take my time to understand the concepts I was learning and provided insights on how I can perform better in my current and future math classes.

With COVID there were significant gaps in what was taught in the math curriculum in Gr8 making the transition to high school difficult. After the mid term marks were provided I contacted Mathnasium to get the additional support needed. After a month I checked back in with the high school math teacher who noticed improved grades and improved participation in class.

My daughter was always frustrated with math and never enjoyed or understood it in school. She was also falling behind due to school lockdowns. Loving our experience with Mathenasium so far. Horace is absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. The boys really enjoy learning at the Centre and love the rewards they’re able to collect with each mastery check completed. They also seem to be doing better with math overall. Highly recommend :)

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for a few years and she has completely changed how she views math. She is enthusiastic and reflective of her results. She needed math to apply for Business in University, and lacked confidence. Her tutor and the Director/owner Horace supported her journey with care. They researched the content taught in the class curriculum and provided a platform to allow her to excel. High school math became enjoyable for her. I am so happy we chose Mathnasium. My family's experience at Mathnasium of Pickering have been great. My children enjoy learning at Mathnasium and their math skills have improved considerably. They love that Mathnasium offers incentives such as reward cards, homework help and the one-on-one teaching experiences.The instructor team is knowledgable, friendly and professional. The owner is also knowlegable, accomodating and professional. He always answers the phone and is there to listen and to support his customers.
Mathnasium is a great math learning centre and my family and I recommend it one hundred percent!

Mathnasium has helped my daughter a lot with her math. She is in gr 6 and she not only caught up with what she was missing, but now she feels more confident and feels that she knows more how to solve certain math problems than her peers in her class. Mathnasium in Pickering, Kingston Road is a welcoming place where the Administration is polite and quick to respond to any questions and concerns that you may have. They provide an updated evaluation and access to your child's progress on an ongoing basis or when requested.
Furthermore, my son has enjoyed the interaction with his tutor and finds him responsible, professional and knowledgeable.My son's experience here has improved his skill level and his confidence.

I have kids in grade 3 and grade 7 and math was the subject I am least capable of home schooling so during this pandemic I was concerned mainly about teaching my kids math.
Luckily, Mathnasium has a program called mathnasium@home where my kids have access to the instructors just like if they were at the Center. They have individual sessions three times a week and have been able to have help with their homework but also keep them working their personalized learning plans.
Mathnasium@home has given us piece of mind and helped us ensure our mental health is stable during this crazy time.

Sky and Hector are wonderful people. They go beyond expectations in trying to help the kids to learn. Mathnasium is the only place in town where kids can actually get help on the math they are actually learning at the time in school. Other places only stick to their strict schedule of curriculum, and will not help the kids to study for a test that they have in the coming week. Thank you!

I am very happy to have chosen Mathnasium as the math tutoring help provider for my children. My children math skills have improved drastically as well as their confidence and grades. They are excited to be learning at Mathnasium because the tutors are accessible and knowledgeable. I am so excited that during the Covid19 pandemic Mathnasium is providing online tutoring services and we are taking advantage of this opportunity, and it is turning out to be as effective as being in the classroom. The instructors have knowledge of math and they support and encourage my sons to bring their homework.

Having tried various tutoring options for my 9 year old daughter, this has been the ONLY program that has had significant impact and the ONLY one she does not complain about. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and she has gotten so much better at math - her confidence has grown and its reflected in her grades. Even my 4 year old loves coming. The best experience from a customer service point of view as well as a mother of a 10 yr old homeschooled child, who 'hated' math.
