Mathnasium has been instrumental in improving my daughter’s math skills and grades. The staff are so helpful and kind whenever she asks for help with a math topic she doesn’t understand. We have been coming to Mathnasium for years and I would recommend them to anyone whose child needs help with math.

I have been meaning to email you guys (so hopefully this will suffice) to tell you how thrilled and satisfied we are with Mathnasium Don Mills. Every time I pick my daughter (Gr 10) up from her session she is smiling and says 'I love math'.
The teachers that have been working with her (Antionio, Jason and another gentlemen) are so supportive, helpful and fun.
She says her time there goes quickly and she leaves feeling confident and happy.

My son Liam has attended Mathnasium for a few years now. I believe it has had a very positive effect on not only improving his understanding of mathematics, but also aided in his overall ability and attitude with learning and schooling in general.
Personally I have found the staff to very helpful with any issues I may have had, whether with fees, scheduling , rescheduling and other inquires.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Kids are definitely more confident with Math. One kid go from failing math to B+ grade. Another kid love how Mathnasium prepares her for the challenges and offer more drills to make sure she really know her stuffs. No pressure added to the family, no take home work, really just there to help and support. That’s why I choose Mathnasium over other math tutoring centers.

Fantastic in-class experience that combines collaborative teamwork between the staff and student. The Don Mills Mathnasium team have been excellent with open communication on progress made and opportunities for improvement. Learning plans are adaptive and customizable to fit the school curriculum while also pushing forward. Would highly recommend.

Mathnasium Don Mills location team is absolutely amazing in many ways! Since we have switched from another location to Don Mills location, they are very helpful, welcoming, informative and professional in our interactions. My son is having fun learning math and the whole team has been very supportive! We tried for a month and now I’m choosing the 6 months contract. The lady I contacted there was not pushy at all. She actually suggested to try for a month and see if the program will work with my son then opt for the contract which I think was great! They offer binders for each student and my son loves that part and they have a good encouraging system for the kids. They get to collect stars with each session then they can get a small gift. My son is loving it and thinks that it is really helping with his math progress at school

Nidhi is a great listener, patient with students and parents and always ready to help. She has brought a personal touch to Mathnasium Don Mills which I appreciate. Her team of teachers is wonderful. I do not know them all by name but the two whom I know have made a positive impression on my daughter Chloe are Tajrian and George. There is another Mathnasium closer to us which I have wanted to switch to but Chloe insists on the longer drive to your centre.

My son has been going to Mathnasium since he was in Gr 4; he's now graduating high school. His math has always been very strong, and the tutors at Mathnasium have enhanced his math skills and gave him confidence in his own math abilities.
Mathnasium is obviously selective in who they hire as tutors, because, over the many years he has been at Mathnasium, they have been very professional, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. They also clearly know how to teach math!
Pleased and proud to share that my son has been accepted into the mechatronics engineering honours program at the University of Waterloo.
Thank you to the tutors at Mathnasium for the help and confidence you gave him!

My son is very happy with Mathanasium. He is currently attending the online sessions and is happy that online sessions are comparable to inperson sessions. The instructors are knowledgeable and very helpful. Nidhi especially is great, she made the transition from in-person to online easy for me and my son. I highly recommend this location.

I have referred many friends to Mathnasium; great tailored program for kids individual needs.
Ability to talk to site directors for feedback and adjust for students needs.
Like that there is no homework and is easy for parents.
Areas for improvement:
Making sure there is time to review things learned a long time ago so that students don’t forget
Ensure that it’s not jsut mechanical math, but teaching how to apply math to word problems so they know when and how to apply math concepts

Mathnasium is the best tutoring school. They really helped my daughter learn how to do complicated math concepts quickly and well. The tutors are knowledgeable, experienced and very supportive with students . Overall l'm 100 percent happy.
Staff are friendly and always make their students feel comfortable. Easy to communicate and can easily make necessary adjustments if you encounter any conflict in your schedule.

Love the detailed diagnostics and tracking to progress… makes it clear what kids are doing and how they are improving. Teachers are great; kids love the prizes and very motivated to do more math. Like the flexibility of scheduling.
Like that there is opportunity to bring own material in for help vs jsut the curriculum.
Some opportunities:
- the appt booking app makes it hard to track hours booked; and have to do some clicking to track by child (note I haven’t looked at the new app booking yet)
- while it’s great to stick to curriculum, some kids may appreciate more balance to contest type math as an additional opportunity… or prep courses for private schools

I am extremely happy with the results we are seeing in our sons math work. Mathnasium of Don Mills have worked with us even creating a custom program to suit our sons needs. All their instructors are excellent to work with (but a big shout out to Christine and Jeff Gaffen). She has been a huge help to our son.

My son's 1st session with Mathnasium (Don Mills location) was back in Sept. 2021 and here we are in Feb. 2023 & still going strong. Of course there are days when my son doesn't want to go but that's just human nature. I'd definitely recommend it to friends as I already have! If I didn't think it worked, I wouldn't waste our time and money! It's an investment worth making as mathematics is an important subject and the earlier the building blocks are put in place, the better it is for the student. At Mathnasium, they will test your child's knowledge and start from where the knowledge is lacking & build from there which is the key to learning math.

My kids love attending Mathnasium, and have learned so much. They thrive on the individual attention, as well as the fun challenges. Mathnasium is unique in that they allow kids to bring in their homework and help them work through it- which helps empower the student themselves, as well as contributing to academic success.
The individual lesson plans have helped address both of my children’s learning needs, so that they can fill in previous gaps, as well as continue to be challenged on more advanced concepts.
Overall, we are very happy with the program.
