My Daughter has been attending Mathnasium for almost two consecutive years. The results have been incredible. She enjoys going to her classes every week without any complaints. Rafael and his team are extraordinary since they adapt the learning modality to each child according to their needs and learning style. From the first interaction, Rafael was very supportive and engaging w/ our oldest daughter. He was able to assure us w/ insight on how his team teaches the principles and applies them in practical ways that are directly related to the existing school curriculum. We were very happy w/ the commitment, and demonstrated success, of their students that often exceed the grade level testing components w/ proactive enrollment.
Upon our daughter's first visit w/ the team, we appreciate how supportive and patient each of the team members are w/ the challenging behaviors that are demonstrated w/ such young audiences. Our daughter is very happy w/ the loving, supportive, patient and engaging ways they motivate students to press ahead in their math lessons.
Overall, the team is very responsive to questions that we have of our daughter's lessons and progress. We are looking forward to seeing the exceptional results in the post-level testing and accelerating our daughter's understanding, application and, ultimately, her love for math.

Mathnasium has taught them to understand the WHY behind the math they are learning, and they address the inherent shortcomings in Public School Math education.

We could not be more grateful for Mathnasium. We are so impressed with the quality of instruction that our children receive there. Mathnasium was recommended to us by a high school math department head, and we now understand why. Mathnasium doesn’t just teach kids math, the program teaches kids the various skills they need and can use to solve any mathematical problem. Our children’s math confidence has skyrocketed, their marks have improved dramatically, but most importantly our kids now love solving math problems, and have developed skills that will serve them in so many different ways.

The teachers here are highly skilled and very knowledgeable and very kind and understanding.

Both my son and daughter go to the Stouffville location. I find even when the kids are unmotivated to go to Mathnaisum, then come home energized and excited about what they have accomplished. It is a normal conversation at our dinner table about how what they learn in Mathnaisum helps them help other students in the class. Beyond the program that can be found in many locations, I find the Stouffville team compassionate, kind, encouraging, firm when required, and in tune to the feelings and energy levels of my kids.

The Mathnasium program provides your child with a prescribed plan that meets the individual needs of your child. They offer help by explaining concepts in multiple ways if the child cannot grasp it well until they have full understanding. My boys both attend. One is simply loves the idea of coming in & getting one-on-one help with what he is working on. The other likes the social aspect of the group: all working to one main goal: improvement of Math skills. My son has never enjoyed math and his results showed it.
He loves going to Mathnasium and has a lot more confidence in his math skills now. After 5 months, his grades went up substantially but most importantly, he feels he understands and can do well in math - that is invaluable.
He is going in to grade 11 and will be fully prepared after years of feeling math was hard and a struggle. It's great to see him excited about math!

I think you have made it fun for the kids. My son dreads going but once he is there he is happy with what he accomplishes when he understands it. The only item that I would say for improvement is you need more instructors (especially during the peak times).
When you see a child staring at a sheet without doing anything for sometime, you know they are struggling. Assistance at this stage is needed to help get them guided in the correct direction.

Our Grade 6 & Grade 4 have thoroughly enjoyed Mathnasium. They started just after it opened and continue to have a positive experience while there. In the past we have tried tutors but we find the consistency of the Mathnasium program, flexibility with 'drop-in' times and the reporting to be much more advantageous. We also feel the material taught there relative to our kids learning at school. Oftentimes they have learned the unit at Mathnasium ahead of their class at school. We continue to support and recommend Mathnasium Stouffville.

The Mathnasium program has inspired, motivated and given our kids more convidence in school. Molly and Max enjoy the learning environment and in fact ask to go most days after school! The instructors we have met at the program all seem very capable and despite my initial concerns over the one-on-one environment the system seems to work.
