My son started here because he was really struggling and failing math. Now he's getting A's and B+. He would be so behind and so lost if it weren't for Mathnasium! This was the best decision I made to put him in Mathnasium. They always help with last minute quiz and test studying too. I'm truly thankful for them all there.

The staff are amazing and take an interest in individual children and their learning program. The program feels tailored to my children. I have tried other programs and have always met with resistance from my children, usually with lots of tears and a refusal to go. However, at mathnasium, my kids actually like going ! They enjoy the program and really liked the STEAM classes in the summer ! There is lots of feedback on your child's development in the program. I love the flexibility they offer too. If my child is doing something different in school, they will adapt their learning plan to tailor it to my child's current needs.
I am very pleased with what they offer.
I have recommended it to friends,.and the only barrier to them joining has been the price . The classes are on the higher side compared to other programs.
But the quality is excellent 👍
I am very pleased with the progress they have made at mathnasium.

I have 3 boys that have attended Mathnasium Lakeview. My one son, started in grade 5, graduated from the program, and also worked at the centre. My other two boys are continuing in the program and have been there since grades 1 and 4 (now they are in grades 7 and 10).
This math centre continues to excel and meet the needs of my boys. Never has Mathnasium Lakeview skipped a beat, or come up short, or not met the math needs of my children.
To this day, I continue to recommend this math centre to all parents, regardless of the level of math that their children require. This centre excels at remedial, continuing education, enrichment, etc. They can help at every level. Most importantly, they make math fun and are willing to communicate with parents and families to understand your needs.
This math centre continues to excel and is a great place to take your children.

Lakeview Mathnasium is a wonderful centre. My boys have been attending this centre for the past 7 years.
I have tried many other many centres and various math programs, however none compare to Ms. S and her team.
She also owns Mathnasium Clarkson, so either location is worth registering your child in.
If your child is looking for remedial, on going, or enrichment, this program with Ms. S. and her team is up to the challenge.
The best math centre I have ever enrolled my kids in. That being said, I am a firm believer that the biggest difference is Ms. S and her team.

My 3 boys have been attending Lakeview Mathnasium for the past 6 years. Year after year, this centre has adapted to the needs of my 3 kids and provided the learning that they required. I have never regretted a single day that I have sent my boys to this centre.
I think the biggest different is the owner Mrs. S. and her amazing staff. She owns this centre and the Clarkson centre. I never recommend just any Mathnasium centre to other people, but specifically these two locations. Yes, the curriculum is very good, but I believe that the biggest reason the children are successful at these centres is because of how Mrs. S. are her team teach and run the centres.
They care about each and every child and what each and every child needs. They can help your child no matter the level of math they are at. They are also amazing with enrichment. Trust me, you will be very happy having brought your child/children to Mrs. S. and her team.

My son is thriving and enjoys going in for his sessions. He has thrived this year as a grade 10 student and is very proud to be ahead of his class with a 90% average. He is definitely seeing the benefits attending Mathnasium. Mrs S, Maria and all the teaching assistant are fabulous!!! Would highly recommend.

I've written many exemplary reviews on Mathnasium (Lakeview Location).
My two daughters have been going for almost 2 years. Grades and confidence are through the roof so I thought maybe we had enough support. They told me they don't want to stop going to math class!! They tell me "They are so nice and patient, I can ask as many times as I need and they don't get mad at me." "I like my teachers so much." "I like being extra smart, so I want to keep going so I can get ahead." These are quotes from my kids not the parents!!
In my experience, there are few places that have that magic sparkle that nurture the kids in this way. I am so happy we found Mathnasium!

The Mathnasium Centre's that are run/owned by Ms. S (Lakeview and Clarkson), continue to amaze me. My 3 boys have been students of there for the past 6 years. My eldest has completed the Mathnasium curriculum, enjoys it so much that he wanted to continue. They have tailored a program for him to help him with his AP courses and the math he will be using in University. He loves to learn and finds that each week, he is enjoying what they have created for him more and more.
This program is amazing for any math level. Whatever your child's needs are, they can help. I have tried most of the popular math programs over the years in the GTA, and this is by far a superior program. However, that being said I do think that a huge element of the programs success is due to Ms. S and her team. I can not speak for the other Mathnasium Centre's that are not run by her.

In the month and a half my 8th grade son has been attending Mathnasium, he has already shown improvement in class work and tests. Happy with the progress thus far and what’s even better is he looks forward to going twice a week, enjoys his time there and has a sense of accomplishment afterwards. All around great choice for my son!

My 3 boys have been attending the Lakeview Mathnasium Centre for the past 6 years. Ms. S. and her team are nothing less than extraordinary.
They are amazing at addressing every level of math need and maintain the students interest while keeping it fun and educational at the same time.
This is by far the best math program we have experienced.
I do believe however, that that because difference is in who is running the centre and the specific location. Ms. S. and her team have consistently gone above and beyond in every aspect as teachers and business owners.
I have always recommended both locations that are run by Ms. S. are her team and will continue to do so.

Our son lost a lot of confidence in his schooling throughout the COVID lockdowns. We know that he is capable of great success but he didn't believe it. As a result, he got very far behind in his school work, especially in math.
We visited and interviewed a few different tutoring places but weren't happy with them. A friend recommended Mathnasium Lakeview and when we met with them, it was clearly the best option for our son.
After only 4-5 months our son is getting A+ marks on his school math tests again and what used to be his most dreaded subject has become his favourite. More importantly, he has his confidence back with regards to math and he really enjoys it again.

Maria is the Centre of Director for the Lakeview Mathnasium. She is always friendly, efficient, understanding, patient and accommodating with our questions and requests. Maria definitely makes the administration experience easy for the parents. She is always up-to-date with my kids' progress and able to make useful recommendations. I really appreciate her keen interest in the students and her approachable personality.
We had been with Lakeview Mathnasium for 6 years and would highly recommend this location to anyone because of the owner, the Centre of Director and the teaching staffs.

My two boys started Mathnasium in Grade 6, just before the pandemic started. Over the last 3 years, I have found Mathnasium invaluable in making sure the boys understand the math concepts they learned in school and also prevented them from 'sliding back' during the long periods of no or virtual learning.

1. Flexible (in person or online) so we never have to miss a class!
2. Kids love going!
3. Only 2 hours a week and the confidence and improvement in math is unbelievable!
4. Patient, non judgemental instructors key to not being afraid to ask questions over and over if needed! 4:1 ratio is key!!

My 3 boys have been attending this math centre for the past 5 years.
I could not be happier as a parent, and my boys all love the math education they are receiving at Mathnasium.
After trying other popular math centers in the GTA, and not being satisfied, I found Mathnasium 5 years ago. We have never looked back.
This centre is great for any math level.
Highly recommended from a very happy parent and customer.

I am so grateful to have been introduced to Mathnasium of Lakeview. We have been with them for several years and my son has truly benefitted so much. He went from being very fearful of maths to feeling ready to take on 3 grade 12 maths courses in his final year of high school !! The teachers genuinely care about the students and go above and beyond in working with the families to deliver a carefully tailored program that supports students every step of the way. I can't say enough good things about Mathnasium of Lakeview !!

We have recently reenrolled one of our sons back at Mathnasium. He needed some help with gr 9 math. He attends 2 times a week and is never grumpy about going in to the centre to learn and better his math skills. He likes the teachers and raves about Mrs. S. She checks in and supports him and that makes him feel special! More importantly he wants to go in and learn which is a feat in of itself with teenagers today!

First of all, we have been enrolled for 8 months now and the kids still love going! I have never heard them ask me "do we have to go?" Everything is great from the initial assessment to the work pages, to the incentive prizes to the patient instructors available for questions at a 1:4 ratio, monthly reports and being able to focus on current math homework! This program is for everyone! Preparing for a big test? They will work on that as well!
My straight A student is covering all the chapters of math that were skipped because of covid, and my other darling gets to keep asking questions until she is satisfied! We all know that the conventional classroom just can't accommodate these ends of the spectrum with one teacher to 30 children.
I highly recommend Mathnasium for everyone. They are great at communicating with parents and achieving results.

Lakeview Mathnasium gives me the comfort that my kids receive consistent learning and practices especially during the disruptions of schools switching back and forth between in-person and online. Each math concept built upon the previous ones. Hence, it is important to ensure each concept is fully understood. The pre and post assessments of Mathnasium are great tools to get a better understanding what topics would needed to be worked on or practise more during classes. Schools give out tests, but they do mot follow up what mistakes kids made, they simply move on to next concept. Mathnasium makes sure kids worked on those concepts again to ensure they understand before they move on. I believe this is how you build a solid foundation of math.
