I am very happy with how far my daughter has come in math since starting at Mathnasium Summerside. Asif and staff are amazing! Patience and very encouraging to the students. To see my daughter confidence grow in math makes it so worth attending. I was a bit worried about the upcoming government PAT, but knowing they are working on this along with the regular course material give my daughter extras confidence with finishing strong in math. I highly recommend this program to anyone with a child struggling with math.

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for 5 months and so far we have seen a positive change in her approach towards learning, as well as improved grades in her maths school work.

I am happy that my son is in this and enjoy getting the progress reports. Since beginning I am unsure of how it’s going and the progress and if it’s benefiting him at all.
The progress reports tell me what he has done but I don’t know what the process is to make sure that he has a good grasp and understands what he is being taught.

I am very happy that my kids have been with Mathnasium for the past eight months. My 8th grader was very calculator dependent but now she is calculator independent and is able to figure it out on her own. She excelled in school part A exams and attained 100%.
My 3rd grader is ahead of his class in concepts which is good as he builds his mental math skills.
Asif and his team are very friendly, welcoming and provide support to the students.
Asif also takes the time to know the kids closely and their personalities and makes sure it doesn’t affect their progress. My 3rd grader is sometimes overconfident and makes mistakes, Asif makes sure to slow him down to achieve better results and grasp the concepts.
My kids are eager to go every time and they never complaint and are never bored.

Our daughter has been attending Mathnasium for just over a year. She has never complained over having to go. She is no longer afraid of math and feeling more confident by the session. Getting her caught up on core competencies has been one side of the equation. Having her receive an hour of private tutoring each week to get ahead in next semester’s math is the second. Together, we know our daughter is going to rock math and maybe even come to love it.

My daughter's confidence in math has grown exponentially since working with the wonderful tutors at Mathnasium! She has almost caught up to her grade level and even thought it's still not her favourite subject - she is not afraid of math like she used to be.
If you are a parent who struggles with math yourself or maybe doesn't know how to teach it to your child, send them to Mathnasium. It's worth every penny!

Our daughter's confidence in math has exploded since going to Mathnasium. Not only is she doing better in school, she now LOVES math and enjoys going to Mathnasium three times a week. As a 14-year old, she complains about a lot, BUT she has NEVER complained ONCE about going to Mathnasium...so, they are obviously doing something right. We look forward to continuing with Mathnasium and having Libby work through her learning plan and master all of the concepts, theories, patterns and computations.

Before my daughter started at mathnasium she was really struggling with math, asking her a simple math question would result in tears. Since starting mathnasium her grades have gone up in school, she’s received an award for most improved student but what I’ve really noticed is an increase in her confidence. She’s more sure of herself, she is excited to answer a math question, and she will find answers to math equations found in everyday life without any prompting. I’m very happy with how much mathnasium has helped my daughter in such a short time. Thank you mathnasium.

The whole program is designed to help kids gain confidence in Math. My 13 year old has gone from not liking Math at all to appreciating it, all because he understands the concepts being taught him. My daughter was having a a hard time in grasping the concept of Math, she also had a habit of counting her fingers to do her sums and subtractions and I know that her foundation was not where it's supposed to be. Though I know how math works I am not equipped to teach, I had no idea where to start and what way I could help her. I tried to assist her myself but I just got frustrated with myself mainly and that brought a lot of tears and disappointments to my daughter. So to not cause any further damage to my child's learning I started looking for a place where she could be helped, and I saw Mathnasium while we were driving by Harvest Pointe. Gave a call and I received a quick response from Asif and he made an assessment and I saw from the result how much help my child needed. She loves math but help is required for her to be more confident. Right away after a month of lessons from the ever patient Asif and his team of great instructors my child now can do her math assignment on her own, her tests have better scores and I can see that she is more sure of herself when it comes to math. She still have more lessons to go but I'm really happy with the progress that my daughter has achieved so far.

We love the classes! It has given our little guy so much confidence and improved his skills so much as well. The teachers are very engaging and encouraging! These classes are amazing! He has been taking lessons since September and what a change!
