Mathnasium has been a great way to help our daughter improve her math skills and give her the one on one time that we don’t have the time (or expertise) to give on a regular basis.
It has helped her stay on top of her work at school and increase her confidence and self esteem.
She has met some lovely tutors and actually enjoys her time spent @ Mathnasium!!
The “reward” system is engaging and helps keep things fun.
We would recommend Mathnasium Carlington!
We also appreciate the flexibility with payment (able to put service “on hold” as needed (holidays/ summer/ etc)

Our daughter has been well supported by the Mathnasium Carlington Team.
It’s helped with her confidence and she’s met some lovely tutors along the way.
She enjoys the “reward” system as well :)
Her math grades have improved, and she knows she can bring her school material in for further review if needed.
The booking system is flexible, and it is not far from school which is very convenient for our family.

The pandemic has had a negative impact for my 2 kids with their learning especially in math. I saw the improvement right away within 6 months with one of my kids not only with her math skills but also her confidence and enthusiasm of the subject. Although my other kid was not able go see the progress, Ola and the staff were so amazing, absolutely dedicated and committed to my kids success. They went above and beyond to help with learning strategies that meets his neurodivergence learning style and we are all so grateful and happy with our experience.

Mathnasium is an incredibly valuable service. In just one month, my child is seeing a difference and learning math skills and concepts. The whole system, from booking in-person sessions online, to kids signing themselves in and managing their own binder, to the customized plan and achievement milestone updates, is wonderful.

Different from other tutoring programs. Kidls gain an understanding of concepts - not just memorizing so when they see the concept the next year and build on it they remember it. Has led my daughter to have a lot of confidence in math. Also Ola really cares about the kids and ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.

We have had a very good experience at Mathnasium Carlington. The owner has been very responsive, accommodating and available to answer all my questions.
My daughter needed to upgrade her math so she can take an advanced high school math credit; she has never liked math before. After beginning tutoring at Mathnasium, she began to understand math and even enjoy it. She has been very pleased with her progress. The tutors were very knowledgeable and have made the concepts easy to understand.

Our two kids have been enrolled at Mathnasium on Carlington (which is actually located on Wellington Street West in Hintonburg) for the past 6 months. Although neither of them have been flagged by their teachers as “struggling” with math, we noticed that their understanding of core/fundamental math elements (which should probably have been mastered during the pandemic/online learning timeframe) was not where it should be. To ensure they wouldn’t fall behind in the years ahead, we decided to look into math tutoring and found Mathnasium.
The Mathnasium location is spacious, beautiful and very clean. During our first visit, Ola (owner/centre director of Mathnasium) gave our kids an assessment to understand what they know, and what they don’t (but should) know based on their grade level. Based on the results of their assessment, Ola set up a customized learning plan for each of them.
My kids are currently going twice per week (1 hour each time) and they enjoy going - no lie. They enjoy the space, the incentive/rewards program and (I think) the increase in confidence that comes with seeing their progress over the weeks and months. Without a doubt, we have noticed an improvement in our kids’ mathematical literacy, especially with regards to multiplication/division where they learned effective shortcuts and tricks to solve real-life number problems.
The Mathnasium instructors seem very engaged, friendly and professional. Ola is very passionate about her business and seems very invested in her students. On international Pi day (March 14/3.14), Ola threw a party for her Mathnasium students with delicious snacks, fun math games and prizes. Both my kids had a blast. I would not hesitate to recommend Mathnasium. It’s a well developed and effective learning program.

Mathnasium provided the math support my child needed to help build their confidence in Math and fill gaps in their learning caused by the pandemic.
The online appointment booking portal is easy to use and helpful as it reminds parents of upcoming appointments.
The facility itself is bright and clean and easy to access.
Also, the staff are competent and friendly!
