Philippe

Lead Instructor
Philippe has a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Ottawa and four years of tutoring experience. He is deeply interested in science and math; apart from working at Mathnasium, he provides freelance assistance to researachers. When he's not working, he writes, plays tabletop games, and practices Taekwondo.

Simon

Assistant Centre Director
Simon is currently completing a bachelor of Mathematics at Carleton University. He has lots of experience working with kids, through tutoring and years of volunteering at sports camps. Simon is passionate about math and wants to use that passion to help students get excited about learning. In his free time, Simon likes playing soccer, spending time in nature hiking or mountain biking, and watching movies.

Thu Thu

Instructor
Thu Thu is currently a student at Carleton University majoring in Computer Science. Rae has experience working with kids throughout high school. Rae used to participate in Math Olympiads so she’s really passionate about maths. Rae enjoys playing video games and baking in her free time.

Aya

Bilingual Instructor
Aya recently graduated from her secondary education. She is an instructor at mathnasium of Carlington. Currently, Aya is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She has over a year of experience in tutoring English and French and has volunteered to teach Arabic in weekend classes. Over the years, Aya has developed a passion in understanding students and helping them build the confidence they need to achieve their goals. As their instructor and friend, it is her utmost priority to ensure that her students not only understand the math but are also able to connect it to the world around us. In her free time, Aya enjoys writing poetry, sketching, and exercise.

Ralph

Instructor
Ralph is currently pursuing his studies in Computer Sciences and Mathematics at Carleton University. He is also passionate about volunteering at his church's kids' camps. He loves reading books, playing video games and playing basketball in his free time.

Riley

Lead Instructor
Riley is currently completing a Bachelor of Mathematics in Statistics with a minor in Psychology at Carleton University. Riley has previously volunteered as a youth soccer coach and plays competitively as a goalie. Riley has been passionate about math and stats his whole life, and is particularly interested in statistical testing, ranking systems, and sports analytics. When he’s not working, Riley plays for the Carleton Field Hockey team, plays video games, and reads.
