My son has been attending Mathnasium for over a year now and we are very pleased with his progress. Before Mathnasium he would have many struggles getting through his math homework and now it is less daunting for him. He always leaves his Mathnasium session with a smile and I can tell he feels more confident.

My kids attend there summer session and I saw an improvement in there math skills. We did two summer sessions with them and now are continuing for the year.
The teachers are great and give individual attention to the child as needed. They also make learning fun to engage the children and give incentives.
The program is geared towards your child's specific needs as they are assessed at the beginning.
I highly recommend Mathnasium if you child wants to improve on their math skills or struggles with math.

Mathnasium is a great way for kids to learn Math and for parents to know exactly where their kids are at in their learning. Mathnasium focuses on a step by step approach giving students confidence and practical core math skills.
Kris is the Manager at Collingwood Branch and always doing her best to accommodate our family's needs. We feel that Kris makes the kids feel welcome and their success a priority..

Our son was really struggling in math. We simply couldn’t get him on track and his sense of worth was being affected. He has been going to Mathnasium for 2 months and has been showing huge growth. He has confidence that he can learn and do math. He loves going to Mathnasium and learning new skills. More than anything though, he’s learning to learn. He’s never truly understood how to learn math. You guys are helping him to do that.

Mathnasium has helped build our 8-year-old's confidence in Math after missing much schooling due to the pandemic. Their star system has also taught our child about delaying gratification and saving enough "stars" to purchase rewards. Our child wasn't always excited about Math but he enjoys it much more after attending.

We have been very happy with Mathnasium. Our child's performance in math has improved and this has been reflected in her grades in school but also in her more functional use of math in day-to-day life. The staff, led by the very accommodating Kris, has been friendly and supportive of our girl's math journey.

With the pandemic and a year of great uncertainty, we were confident in the fact that Mathnasium provided the same (if not higher) level of value, service and learning. School closures left gaps in learning and the team at Mathnasium rose to the challenge and keep kids learning in a safe and consistent environment. Glad to have this resource!

We are very impressed with the Mathnasium learning method and their teams both Collingwood and North Van. They have made our daughter confident by working with her to create a firm foundation and improve her math skills. When she started in June 2020, she was using basic tools to help with her number computation such as finger counting and drawing circles. In just 4 months she had completed topics such as Double Facts, Complements of 10, Subtraction Facts, Missing addends, even and odd numbers, and is now able do mental math and has become more independent as they are moving to more complex topics.

I have been very happy with my children’s progress since June. In such a short time, they have come to enjoy math much more. In the start of the pandemic It was a battle to get them to do their math homework. Just because I’m good at math myself doesn’t mean I can teach the concepts. I’m glad I am letting the professionals that’s been doing this daily teach them. My children is always excited to go for their math session even after a long day in school. I’ve talked highly of this experience to my school parents and 2 have already signed up.

It is amazing the formula Mathnasium uses to teach students. Our kid has been attending for less than two months and we are definitely seeing a change in her approach to math. She is more confident with the subject matter and has admitted Mathnasium has helped her with her school work. It is very rewarding, as parents, to see our child gain confidence and positivism about math! Thank you to Alvin, Kris and the team of competent instructors/mentors at Mathnasium!!

My daughter enjoys going to Mathnasium, which is most important to me, and her math skills seems to have improved (from what I can tell). It's easy to make appointments and I like the flexibility for vacations. The only thing that would keep me from recommending to everybody is the cost. Not everyone can afford it.

Our girls have been going to mathenasium for a few months and the love it! I can see the confidence they've gained not only in their approach to math but their improved approach to all problems - the experience has really shifted them from "I can't" or "it's hard" to "I can figure this out". Highly recommended.

The staff are friendly and kind. I like that they are so flexible and easy going! There were times where I had to cancel or reschedule last minute because of an emergency, they didn’t give me a hard time. I appreciated that so much! They never made me feel bad for missing an appointment! My son has learned so much in the last few months. It really boosted his confidence in solving mathematical problems on his own. His teacher said he’s very strong in math this year. Thank you so much Mathnasium staff for a well done job!!

Mathnasium team has given great confidence to my kids as they enter their new school year. I think it's great to have the basic foundation to prepare for higher level math as they go on.
