We are always looking to expand our team of instructors at Mathnasium of Victoria.
Mathnasium is a math-only learning centre that offers both math help and enrichment to students in grades 2-12. We teach math to children in a fun, confidence-building environment. Each student in our program receives a customized Learning Plan based on our proprietary teaching material. Make a difference in a child’s life through your passion for math!

Training: We offer training in the proprietary Mathnasium Method.
Students: You will work with a variety of students at different grade levels. All work is in the centre (or online): All work is done at the Mathnasium Centre, so you have no homework to correct or lesson plans to develop.
Career Path: Starting as an Instructor you can progress within the centre to become a Lead Instructor, Assistant Centre Director, or Centre Director!

Hours may vary, but could include mid-afternoon through early evening hours, Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday during the day, approximately 12 - 22 hours per week (flexible). All candidates must successfully pass a math literacy test in order to be considered. For those hired, there will be some (paid) training offered in the Mathnasium MethodTM of teaching, as well as ongoing (paid) training opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be a bright and ambitious professional with excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates will possess curriculum knowledge to provide effective and concise math instruction to students of all ages while using the Mathnasium Method.
Instructors contribute to the creation of an engaging and productive learning environment. They participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value. The Instructor is also responsible for assisting in evaluating and tracking the progress of each student and to maintain and foster effective communication with the Centre Director and staff.
The Lead Instructor is a more experienced Mathnasium Instructor who manages the instruction floor. They would possess strong leadership qualities and be an efficient multitasker. Lead Instructors act as a resource to the Instructors to facilitate exceptional student learning under the Mathnasium Method.
