Math Instructors NOW HIRING

Mathnasium instructors are passionate, energetic, and math knowledgeable.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching, or tutoring math an asset

• A great sense of humor and a caring/friendly nature

• good with kids

• Ability to teach math Gr 1 - 12 (or specify which grades you can teach up to when applying)

• centre hours are Monday to Thursday 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm

• good availability is an asset

Lead Math Instructor

Qualifications:

• Degree in Education or Mathematics or related field

• A great sense of humor and a caring/friendly nature

• Great organizational and time managment skills

• Ability to teach math Gr 1 - 12

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring an asset

• Must be able to work weekdays from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm

Centre Manager

Ideal candidate has a strong background in mathematics education, is energetic, has a positive attitude and enjoys working with children of all ages.

Qualifications:

• Degree in education, math or business field

• Sales and customer service experience

• Great organizational skills and time management skills

• Great leadership skills

• Time management, and organizational skills

• Experience teaching mathematics

• Strong knowlege of mathematics and the ontario curriculum

• Superior communication skills

• Must be available weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays: 

  • Mon - Thurs 4PM to 8:00PM

  • Saturday - 10AM - 2PM

Core Functions

• Assessing new students and completing learning plans
• Creating quarterly progress reports for students
• Interacting with parents
• Hiring and managing centre instructors
• Admin duties: bookkeeping, payment processing, and monthly reporting
• Day to day operations of the centre
