Her passion for making math fun for kids is what led her to join the Mathnasium family.

Marc Motica, Lead Instructor

Marc graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics at Trent Universiry and was a student teacher as part of his teaching program. His love for teaching has not stopped since then. It's not only because he sees the confidence in the kids once they've mastered the material but also because he thinks back to where they started. Yo how they had to overcome their struggles in math, how they told themselves many times in the beginning that they couldn't do it, and how much they have progressed in math since then. He believes math gives kids not just knowledge, but experience.

Marc's favourite things to do are playing video games, watching movies and soccer, and travelling.

Kevin Phan, Instructor

Kevin is currently pursuing his Bachelor in Science and Technology Studies at York University. His love for math started in elementary school when he fully mastered multiplication before anyone else in his class could. Math has always been his favourite subject because of the rational thinking and complexity with numbers.

In his spare time, Kevin loves to watch movies, play video games and collect. His favourite video game series is Monster Hunter and favourite movie is Sword of the Stranger.
