My daughter has been attending mathnasium for about a month. We have been impressed with the feedback we get from the program coordinator, both in their standard progress report and assessments, but also just general emails about how she is progressing.
They make math fun and something she looks forward to doing!

My daughter (13) has been going to Mathnasium for just over a month and is thriving. She always looks forward to going and loves the incentive program. She recently commented that she feels more confident during math class at school and has been helping some of her peers using tricks she has learned at Mathnasium. It’s a very worthwhile investment.

Since Aaliyah and Elijah started I’ve notice a huge difference with them understanding their math homework.
Aaliyah’s in grade 9. Math was a struggle for her not anymore, Aaliyah’s test marks have improved.
Elijah is in grade 7 didn’t like or understand his math now he is thriving in math at school.
Excellent staff at mathnasuim!

We have had Ana amazing experience with Mathnasium for both our daughters aged 10 and 14. During online learning from covid we felt they needed a little extra boost. Both girls are not keen on Math but know the program is helping them. It’s so nice to see them taking more of an interest in Math. This is all thanks to the wonderful program and professional service providing by the instructors

My daughter has learned and developed so many new skills! She was struggling in math and in tears daily. She told me she is so happy she is at Mathnasium, because she sees how much she has improved and now enjoys math. The confidence I see in her math today vs 8mths ago is amazing!

We have seen huge improvements in our 8 year old since starting Mathnasium. This program has helped her gain confidence in her math skills and has worked to get her back to the level she needed to be. With the lockdowns and school closures, Mathnasium has given her the skills she missed these last two years.
We love the program and the staff at the St. Catharines location; they are kind and helpful and make math fun.

This program has been wonderful for my daughter. She is in Grade 3 and was in need of some extra help due to the Multiple school closure over the last two years because of Covid. She has already made significant progress in getting back on track with her math skills.
I highly recommend the program and the staff in St. Catharines are wonderful! They make math fun for the kids.

My son was very apprehensive at first, thinking he was bad at math and was self conscious. He was lacking in self confidence to say the least. After his first appointment his anxiety was gone and his confidence had slightly returned. Today, his confidence has fully returned, he loves how he’s being taught and treated and he talks about how great it is. He’s even referred a friend of his from his school who he knew was struggling and could use the help. Today they’re both doing really well and loving it!

Our 8 year old daughter is thriving in the program. Rick and his team are engaging and supportive. They have truly made math fun for her and her time spent at Mathnasium has helped with her anxiety around math. Our intention is to continue with the program throughout the school year as an extra supplement for her learning.
We highly recommend the program for its unique way of making math fun and the amazing staff.

Claire has gone from being unsure of her math abilities, and dreading the subject, to being very confident and always willing to approach new math concepts.
She has moved from a C grade to an A. She has even been able to help fellow students with their math questions. We couldn't be more proud of her, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mathnasium to anyone!

The curriculum is fantastic. Unlike the school curriculum, the Mathnasium program develops a deep understanding of numbers. I battled with other tutoring services to discover later that they were only tutoring my child to get through the grade without filling the gaps that were missing. Mathnasium fills the gaps and builds up confidence by filling these missing pieces sequentially. The program allows for tutoring and independent work so children are not lead through their mastery but instead develop mastery independently. This is not a rote memorization program. The best way to describe it is a deep fundamental understanding of numbers. It has changed my child’s relationship with mathematics and I recommend it to everyone.

My daughter has struggled with math through most of high school. And I am not good at math either so I was no help. It was stressful for Emily to not be able to understand and then having more learning piled on. Mathnasium has been so amazing!! John and Rick are kind and helpful. And all the tutors are excellent at teaching and so nice. Emily leaves her sessions at Mathnasium and says “I understand it now” and that is what matters! We couldn’t have done high school math without their help!!

Out of curiosity a couple of years ago , I popped into a place called Mathnasium with my two sons and was greeted by friendly gentleman named John Britcher. I explained to him my middle son has high functioning Autism but Math was anxiety producing for him. The atmosphere of Mathnasium caught my son’s attention and he looked around as I spoke with John. My son’s anxiety with math has decreased since being a Mathnasium and he is learning math in a way he understands. Even with the COVID 19 pandemic upon us , he is learning through the online format. Mathnasium has been and continues to be a helpful resource for my son.

My son was struggling with math and we thought getting extra help would help. He was really anxious about being pointed out as a new “member” and didn’t think he would like it. Once he had his first class and got to know what the routine was and that they didn’t point you out or make an example of you he really loved it and looked forward to it. His grades improved but it was his confidence that really excelled.

I highly recommend Mathnasium Learning Center if you want your child improve his or her Mathematical skills.My son Leanard improve a lot in his Math since he started going there and through the loving care , help and support of John and his team he became good in Mathematics and now he's an honor student in his school.With his excellent talent in Visual Arts and tremendous improvement in Mathematics he's dreaming to become an Architectural Engineer someday , God willing.Ty Mathnasium Learning Center. I was pleased with my grand daughters progress while taking math there. She had diificulty and got frustrated but did finish the exam.She passed her math exam and that was our goal. She will never ace math but Im glad she was able to learn and understand some of the primary math.
I was very pleased with the teachers for their patience and understaffing. They helped alot with building her confidence.

The confidence and skills instilled in my kids grew with the help of Mathnasium. They have given them both strategies to deal with math without frustration and confusion. I am so happy that we have joined this amazing program, one that my kids have not complained about once! The program is great and fun for the kids, they enjoy going and working their way up to earn stars to save up for prizes on the wall. The only downfall is the price of the program. Having two kids in it is very expensive, and I will probably only be able to afford the first 6 months and then will have to look for a more cost effective option.
