Our Team

Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:

Centre Director/OwnerBarindra Dua, Centre Director/Owner

Barindra earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics in India. In 2005, she completed her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Sauder School of Business, UBC (University of British Columbia). Since completing her MBA, Barindra has enjoyed a successful career working in the Corporate Marketing and Strategy departments of leading companies in B.C. namely TELUS Communications, Coast Capital Savings Credit Union and BCLC.  Her interest in math education sparked as she worked with her son on his math homework. Barindra is a firm believer in the importance of having strong math skills, and largely attributes her career success to a strong foundation in math. “A strong foundation in math helps beyond number crunching and good grades. It is fundamental to developing logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills. I am keen to help children develop these skills that will set them up for success in their future.”


InstructorRamanpreet Badesha, Lead Instructor

Raman is presently in her fourth year of university at Simon Fraser University, and is majoring in history and minoring in English. She has completed an Associate of Arts degree in History at Douglas College and is hoping to become an elementary school teacher. Raman really loves working with kids and has prior experiences in tutoring kids in Math and English. Raman has also worked with kids with Learning Disabilities in the past, so she knows the patience, dedication and positive attitude that one must have when working with different types of children. She believes that the Mathnasium Method is a great way in not only making math easier to understand, but also in making math fun!


Allegra Quadri

Allegra graduated from the Queens University in 2017 with a degree in science. Allegra is passionate about teaching and helping kids. She has coached soccer for several years.


Roman Krasnich, Instructor

Roman is in a Kwantlen Polytechnic University student in his third year of Accounting. He has extensive experience working with kids of all ages through several years of teaching Fencing, and volunteering at several events. Working as a coach, Roman has brought enthusiasm to many. He has enjoyed Mathematics from an early age and wishes to bring the same to the community.


Ramneet Taggar

Ramneet is a fourth year student at the University of British Columbia. Ramanpreet has experience working with kids as a peer tutor and a soccer coach.
