June 1 2017 - Rosemary Heights Cosmic Carnival
We are happy to be a part of fundraising efforts at Rosemary Heights elementary school. We will host an activity station for kids at the Cosmic Carnival.
May 25, 2017 - Sunnyside Elementary Fun Fair
We are pleased to be a part of this event at Sunnyside Elementary. Mathnasium of South Surrey will host a table with spin wheel to entertain kids.

I would recommend that every child who has a challenge with Math or wants to get to love math or wants to improve, attend Mathnasium. If you really care about your kids and their future get them assessed and signed up. Mathnasium changed my sons life and I have only the highest respect for Barindra and her team for the unbelievable fantastic work they do. Thank you again!

Our daughter was in need of catching up to her grade level when we started this program after a tragic experience with Kumon. What a difference this approach/program has made. Not only is my daughter caught up, but she is enjoying the program now as enrichment. Her understanding of math is very much improved and her confidence has also improved greatly. The confidence gained alone is worth it and it’s fun for the students with all the incentives for progressions. We highly recommend this program.

I have our two boys in the program and they really love it. Our elder boy always likes to be challenged but the younger one wants things in a bit slow pace as he is always takes time to do things right. The center keeps them both happy and they are not scared of Math concepts anymore. With remote learning they were not so very happy learning Math at school but the instructors in the center do help and guide them if they are stuck and they like the program.

It's only been a month since my daughter started the program. She enjoys it very much, as a parent I am glad to see she's reclaimed her interest in Math. After each session, she was excited to share the things she learned that session.
We've been with another math program for couple years now, but the method doesn't work for us anymore. So we've chose Mathnasium to reinforce my daughter's math foundation, filling in those possible missing blanks.

My daughter who was struggling with her self confidence around math was able to successfully complete her year. We will be keeping her in Mathnasium through the summer to ensure that the fundamentals that they are teaching her continue to benefit her in her next grade level. The tutors are patient and kind. My daughter has not had one critical thing to say and she is at an age where everything and everyone is somehow "not cool" LOL.

Practice makes better! My daughter is feeling more confident and motivated about math than she was 2 years ago before joining Mathnasium. When she is able to understand different math concepts her teacher is talking about, she feels proud and accomplished. I am so happy to see the change of attitude and competency in my daughter. My daughter Grace really enjoys going to Mathnasium. Grace finds math extremely challenging and I have noticed she is more confident and excited about math since joining Mathnasium only a few months ago.
She really likes the teachers and finds them very attentive and helpful. And Barindra, the owner is very helpful, responsive and accommodating.
Grace also loves the selection of prizes the students can pick from when they finish a level and Barindra and the team have even 'held' certain items for Grace that she really covets until she finishes a level. This is so thoughtful, kind and very much appreciated.
I definitely recommend Mathnasium to others whose kids are really challenged by math.

A little pricey but it’s crazy that my daughter actually Looks forward to it! At 9 years old! We were in Kumon before and it was unfortunately a very poor experience. It would be nice to actually see what they are working on monthly or so. I can tell when I quiz her on certain things she is learning the proper foundations of math!

Very flexible with availability to meet the needs of our family. My daughter has a great connection with all the staff and enjoys going there. They also have an incentive program to keep the students motivated. There is no homework with both parents and students appreciate as we all have busy lives.

My son is in grade 8 and has been with Mathnasium since grade 1. We have always seen the benefits but are now seeing the huge advantage of having built on concepts and layering of information all these years. My son is able to move forward with confidence as he completes two grades of math in one semester. He would never have been able to do that without having solidified concepts along the journey.

Mathnasium has made a significant difference in my daughter’s confidence in her mathematical capabilities. I appreciate the time they take to consistently review concepts so that she gets the practice that she needs for full understanding.

We tried another math tutoring centre before mathnasium. It was a nightmare. What a night and day difference switching to this program. My daughter not only enjoys herself and looks forward to going, but learning math in this way has enhanced her understanding and confidence. From the style of learning, to the student reward systems, it all works amazingly well to keep learning interesting. Much different than the rote learning required in other math programs. With mathnasium, the kids learn an understanding of math, not just memorization. I am so happy we switched to this program.

We are so pleased with our daughter's progress with respect to math in 4 months, particularly the increase in confidence in her own ability. She truly enjoyed going and always came back with good things to say about Barindra and her staff and how good they were. She would show us her new "skills" and spent time convincing her sister that "math is fun!"

I first contacted Mathnasium during the pandemic when school was shut down, as I had wanted my kids to work on math so they didn't get behind, but when I gave them age appropriate lessons online, I was shocked how far behind they were. I wondered where the school system was failing them, and took them to Mathnasium for an assessment. Sure enough both were a few grades behind which was extra scary as one was about to start Grade 8 - high school math! We immediately signed up for classes, and after a few months the progress that they were making was very clear. It is a bit pricey, but I feel completely worth it, if you are wanting your kids to have success in school. I think this is something that i will keep both of my kids in until they graduate high school! Trying to teach your kids at home is stressful, and nerve wracking. Mathnasium has been great for us, and I highly recommend this for all kids that need some extra help. :)

Mathnasium has always been a great summer support for my kids. But during the pandemic it was my best decision to sign up, it has a excellent classroom set up which gave the children a structure not just for Maths but to keep a discipline in their everyday life. I wish schools adopt their classroom program for online learning.

Mathnasium@home has been working great for my son! It’s easy to use and very convenient as kids can get instruction from anywhere there is internet connection. In addition to the convenience of online lessons, the Mathnasium method really works! My son has more understanding about math now. Also, his confidence level dramatically increased over the years he has been with Mathnasium as his math skills are more solid than his classmates. We love Mathnasium and are very happy to have these results!!!

Coping with uncertainty around the pandemic is hard for us, parents, but kids may be having even tougher time due to social isolation, being off school and sports activities, not having their usual routine.. We are very grateful to Barindra for adjusting so quickly to these challenging circumstances and setting up online learning platform!
My son loves his @home experience as much as he used to love his face-to-face interactions at the Center. I’m very glad he is able to continue with his learning plan! Definitely recommend Mathnesium@home online learning program!!!
