I am looking for face to face tutoring for my boys which Mathnasium has. My boys was with Kumon for 1 year and I don't like the teaching method. I am not saying Kumon method is not good but it is not suitable for my boys. So far we only have been with Mathnasium for 1 month. Need to see how the boys' progress after 3 months or so.

During the pandemic I had to become my daughter's math teacher and it was difficult for me to teach without getting frustrated. Last summer we signed her up with Mathnasium and it has been the best decision we have made for both of us. She is now enjoying learning math and looks forward to going to classes. The teachers at Mathnasium really know how to explain and help my daughter understand concepts that I wasn't able to do clearly. My daughter also loves collecting her tickets when she completes assignments since it motivates her to work towards a select prize. I highly recommend Mathnasium for their expertise, but also for me personally it helped with our child-parent relationship stay peaceful when it comes to math homework.

No words can express how thankful I am for this centre. Mathnasium are the best for all your kids needs, both my girls are doing tremendously well in their math learning skills. It help them both a lot, not only that I want to thank Chris the director and all the staffs for being so understanding and considerate. Chris cares very much for both the tutors and the students. The tutors are highly educated in their perspective subjects which allows for the students to benefit from the tutors' deep understanding. The curriculum that is used as a variety of different learning activities for the students and also allows for the tutors to extend learning or break it down into smaller steps for the students to succeed. The parents are able to get a progress report at the end of each term which helps to make sure the parents, students, and tutors are all on the same page. I am very happy that I enrolled my son in this program.
I was initially hesitant because I tried a personal tutor and my son was having trouble concentrating and staying on task and I did not notice an improvement at school.
However, with Mathnasium, he works with his given instructor and completes the work as required.
This year was difficult with the quarantine and my son was able to maintain his math skills with Mathnasium online and I can honestly say that I have noticed an amazing improvement. He has more confidence and he has built good working relationships with his instructors.

For this tough time we are experiencing right at this moment kids needs to learn and with my daughters experience in Mathnasium of Richmondhill she grown a lot on her Math Learning skills, she is now very confident and well motivated and earned very good result.
