Jennifer

Instructor
Jennifer is currently attending high school at Winston Knoll Collegiate. Here she is involved in the music program, being in the school’s musical and senior choir. Outside of school, she loves hiking in the mountains, weightlifting, and playing club volleyball. Jen has always found math exciting and it is her ambition to share this excitement with as many people as possible; she believes that in the right environment, anyone can enjoy math just as much as she does.

Lois

Later she was a Program Coordinator for an agency that provided residential and support services for adults with intellectual disabilities. After retirement and thinking she wanted to do something different, she came to Mathnasium. Lois enjoys golf, curling and travelling, but most of all, her four grandchildren.

Naveen

Instructor
Naveen is currently working as a Research Engineer in the R&D lab in Evraz. He has a master of applied science degree in Materials Engineering from the UBC Vancouver. Since a young age he had a great passion for math and science. As he grew older this passion grew stronger as he realized the beauty in math and how it changed the world every step of the way. He believes that math is not difficult if taught right. Outside work, Naveen enjoys playing the piano, playing tennis & badminton, hiking & travelling and hanging out with friends and family.

Zoë

Instructor
Zoë is enrolled at the University of Regina but is currently deciding between Education and Kinesiology as she has a passion for both! She enjoys learning new things and meeting new people. She believes that everyone should have access to quality education and the tools they need to be successful in their lives, and hopes that she can help others become confident and successful in their own passions - because everyone has something they’re good at! Although she enjoys math, she admits that it hasn’t always come easy to her and that there is always something new to learn; she believes that math isn’t something to be scared of, it’s something that we practice everyday and is a skill to build confidence in. In her downtime, Zoë enjoys reading, being outside, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ryan

Instructor
Ryan has always been interested in science and trying to understand how things work. Ryan had a bad relationship with math in school but was able to develop his skills and confidence through alternative methods on his own time. He now has a passion for math and likes to learn about how other people think. He hopes that he will help others have more "aha!" moments, and to get more curious about math. Ryan has always loved comedy, history, and archaeology!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
