Mathnasium at Shelter Bay Public School 2018 Math Night

This month, we were given the wonderful opportunity to sponsor Shelter Bay Public School's Math and Science Night. Our objectives were to help make this event a greater success for the school and to promote fun learning in Math. The games that were present for this event were developed by Mathnasium for Math Nights. They are fun and easy for execution. We certainly enjoyed ourselves interacting with the children and we hope families, who attended the event, enjoyed as much as well!
Mathnasium is out to support schools, within the Lisgar and Meadowvale area in Mississauga, in implementing or coordinating Math Nights. We do respect the school's position and therefore we, absolutely, will not conduct any sales during the event, nor will we expect the school to provide an endorsement.

Kyle and his team are fantastic with the kids. They have managed to navigate the pandemic and still instruct the kids. My daughter’s confidence with math has progressed so much since she first started. What differentiates this mathnasium is not only their methods but their staff. They are all wonderful.

Very rare to find people like Kyle and his team who consistently provides such high level of service - they were able to keep our kids engaged, adapt to covid times, support gaps including my busy schedule with timely text reminders when we were missing our sessions, address any concern I had or got glimpse of. Appreciated that this was personalized service with continuous improvement Mentality. My youngest prefer concepts to be explained by Mathnasium Instead of myself . Thank you to Kyle for doing leaps and bounds running around different cities during covid times to get steam gift cards - keeping my youngest engaged and consistently coming up with creative items. It was more difficult and you pulled though with A level service as you have always been. Happy with your service and care and you have proven your self yet again during tough covid times. Rare talent, dedication and model many others can follow.

Mathnasium's individual lessons ensure that my child is developing a thorough understanding of math concepts. According to my child the lessons are explained by stating "you do this because ..." The knowledge he is gaining from his time at Mathnasium is making it so much easier for him to understand his math lessons at school and to succeed at them.

It has been a very good learning experience from the very beginning. The assessment was good for my daughter even that she could be challenged a little bit more. The sessions start on time and you give enough time to them to finish. The COVID rules are very well considered and managed. Also, she received the proper assistance from the staff when test and questionnaire from the school has been a little bit challenging for her. Also my daughter has been more comfortable with math at school.

The mathnasium meadowvale team is outstanding. During the pandemic you managed to keep the learning moving adapting very quickly to the online portal and in reopening you've been doing a great job at keeping everyone safe and comfortable. Elena has come so far in her learning and told me just the other day she'd rather go to Mathnasium than school!

My two boys, grade 6 & 8 attend Mathnasium happily. Not once have they said they don’t want to go, even though it’s summer holidays. They had been to Mathnasium last summer but we were not able to manage during the school year. So this summer, once they reopened, I asked them if they would like to go back and they said “Yes”! They feel much more confident starting in September as this past school year was so irregular. This time we will be continuing in September.

Would highly recommend Mathnasium. They have effective instructors and have the ability to teach the math concepts in different ways for different kids learning style. Kyle has been great to deal with in regards to any scheduling and keep us up to date with Covid related items as it pertains to his location. My daughter's confidence and math skills have steadily improved and we have seen a big difference in her math marks at school.

Excellent service, committed team to deliver exceptional results. Management takes care of my concerns, kids are being challenged when opportunities arise. My youngest bodes very well with their teaching style and prefers concepts be explained by Mathnasium vs parents. Great job Kyle, Ivan and team! Not sure if I have seen a better learning strategy thus far... Consideration to partner with school boards and share/ supplement strategy with teachers in support of broadening reach of stronger Math foundation in students.

Kyle and the Mathnasium team are amazing. They truly care about the kids and the quality of learning, making sure each child grasps what is being learned. They are committed to see children excel. Each instructor is caring and kind and gives each child the attention they deserve. I highly recommend any parent to consider enrolling their child to supplement their school education and during the summer months.

During this challenging time, I was so grateful that Kyle and his team managed to continue the online platform for kids to learns. Even if the school year was a bust, my daughter’s math skills did not recede. I am in awe when I see how she can calculate things that would be difficult for adults, in her head! Mathnasium has been a great investment in her education and the team that work here all cater to the children’s needs.

The members of staff at Mathnasium are very responsive to my son's needs and are committed to ensuring that he is consistently improving his math skills. My son's math skills and grades have improved significantly since he started the Mathnasium program. Kyle and the team at Mathnasium Meadowvale have always been fantastic. My daughter has improved her math skills and really enjoys the program. The Mathnasium at Home program is an excellent, stable platform for delivering online math tutoring. I still prefer face to face, in-Center tutoring, however, given the circumstances of Covid-19, the online program is an excellent alternative. Getting used to doing math in a format that is online/virtually/remotely, will probably prepare my child better, when they go off to high school and post secondary, as more and more schooling is being delivered virtually. The tutors are all incredible teachers and are patient and tender when teaching my child.

The Mathnasium of Meadowvale location is excellent and i would highly recommend for math focused teaching and learning. Kyle has been great with communication, the instructors are excellent and my daughter's marks have improved over the months she has been going. She is now getting 90s in math tests and is a lot more confident in herself and her math skills. We have moved over to the @home solution and that is working well given the current circumstances. Kyle as continually tried to provide the best offering available to students and parents.

Kyle and his team take the time to talk to us about our son’s needs. Sometimes staying for an hour after the centre is closed, to chat. They also make sure that the lessons are personalized to meet his needs, rather than just blindly following the curriculum. The team is professional and friendly and our son is making great progress.

Since starting mathnesium, my daughter is alot more confident in her math skills, her understanding has increased and its reflected in her school marks. The instructors are excellent in explaining what is needed and tailoring it to her learning style. Much better than her regular school teacher :)
i would recommend mathnesium to anyone looking for help in math. Its good that its focused on one topic only.

It's always been a struggle to help my son with math because he just didn't want to work with me. Hearing about Mathnasium from a friend, I contacted Kyle and from there everything happened very smoothly. Kyle has an amazing way of talking and relating with kids and I finally get to give my son the help that he needs. I'm grateful and I'm recommending Mathnasiym to everybody without hesitation.

Our son started Mathnasium two years ago, we see a huge improvement, he is more confidant and has a much better attitude towards math. He is comfortable and seems to understand math better. We feel that the program in Mathnasium is far more comprehensive then other programs available out there, since it appeals to the logic and not just repetition, it's also has a flexible schedule that let's you set your own day and time for attendance and if you want, your child can attend Classes everyday, so you can have them come for more classes if you feel they need extra help or less classes if you are busy that week.
If you are considering a math program for your child I would definitely recommend Mathnasium !

our Son is new to Mathnasium Meadowvale, having recently switched from another centre in Mississauga. He is finding the Meadowvale location to have great supportive teachers and to be a lot of fun.
The staff has been great so far. Very responsive to questions and feedback is readily available for our son. A great and professional team.

We have only had our son at Mathnasium Meadowvale for a month, but are already very impressed with the attention and insight that Kyle and the Meadowvale team have demonstrated in helping make sure he is successful in grade 9 math. I noticed my youngest son have a tendency to insert math calculations and logic in our conversations and experiences. He loves math and looks forward to classes, works hard to earn points and rewards, he speaks positively about his session as well as the teachers. Glad that Mathnasium can provide us with a solid technique, approach and content to develop and propel kids. I love that they continuously seek to improve themselves and are attuned to kids well being, progress and development.

We love this place. I never thought my kids would want to do extra math but they get mad if I can't take them on any given day.
There is always a great staff to student ratio... The least I have seen is one tutor to two student and most of the times it's close to 1 on 1 or better. The owner is very active in the progress of each child in don't know how he manages that. The only setback is the hours for us. The 4-8pm days in the summer takes us away from family time in the evenings but I guess in the school year that works well.

Our son has been with Mathenasium for almost 2 years (Grade 2, 3).
We are very happy with the progress he's been making.
He loves going to Mathenasium. They have all kind of motivation incentives tools to keep him interested and results oriented.
We belive that building a solid foundation in math now is an investment in his future and will give him advantage in higher grades when math becomes more complicated.
He does all his studies at Mathenasium and not like other math programs out there, we as parants don't need to work with him at home, we recive progress reports so we can see and measure his progress any time.
Thank you to Kyle and his amazing team of math instructors, who are all doing a great job in engaging the students, keeping them intrested and coming back for more.
