Mouri Shahabuddin

Co-Owner
Mouri is proud to be an instructor at Mathnasium of McKenzie Towne. She has always enjoyed Math throughout her school years and is passionate about helping children gain confidence in their math skills. Mouri has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and she is currently pursuing her MBA at the Haskayne School of Business. Mouri wants to continue teaching math the Mathnasium way as she has noticed the importance of math in everyday life. Outside Mathnasium, she enjoys playing badminton,travelling and spending quality time with friends and family.

Mohiuddin Talukder

Co-Owner
Mohiuddin (Mo) is a self professed math geek and loves working with children . Mo is committed to teaching kids math in a way that makes sense to them. Mo is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with a degree in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick and enjoys exploring new technologies. In his spare time, he is a pro at table tennis, enjoys networking and travelling.

Paul Fish

Center Director
Paul obtained his Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and used that education to create software and deliver business solutions involving complex engineering calculations for over 35 years. Today, he enjoys encouraging students in educational pursuits through their development of proficiency and excellence in math, accomplishing that goal through a partnering with parents and the great team at Mathnasium of McKenzie Towne. Outside of work, Paul is active in his local church and takes the family dog for walks along the Bow River.

Jordyn

Instructor
Jordyn has a BSc in Astrophysics and Physics from the University of Calgary. She has loved math since she was a child and continues to use valuable math skills in her studies. As an instructor at Mathnasium, Jordyn hopes to share her enthusiasm for math with students and help them understand the role that math plays in everyday life. In her free time, Jordyn enjoys playing video games, spending time with her cats, and knitting.

Charmaine

Instructor
Charmaine has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Math from the University of Alberta. She enjoyed math from the start, believing that being able to enjoy and master math is important because it is a field that is widely applicable to our everyday lives, and hopes to pass on that passion to others. She is also passionate about the field of social statistics. Her outside interests include languages, watching different kinds of sports and anime, doing crafts, and playing Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Angi

Instructor
Angi is entering her third year at the University of Calgary, majoring in Math and Computer Science. Math is one of her favourite subjects: there are limitless approaches to solve problems. She wants to motivate other students by helping them discover their interest in math and build stronger problem-solving skills. She enjoys playing badminton, spending time with friends, and binge-watching drama episodes.

Aidan

Instructor
Aidan is a student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Math at the University of Calgary. He believes that there is more to learning math than just rote memorization and calculation; there is an elegance of communication and creativity in problem-solving. He is passionate about getting this across to his peers and students. Aidan is also interested in learning to code, reading and playing video games.

Julienne

Instructor
Julienne is an undergraduate student at the University of Calgary pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology. She hopes to help students gain confidence in their math skills as she believes that proficiency in math opens doors to lots of opportunities. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, trying new food places around the city, and spending time with her family.

Hayon

Instructor
Hayon is currently upgrading at Mount Royal University. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Alberta but changed direction to pursue nursing. He continuously hones his math skills and has a passion for teaching others, excited to be an instructor assisting students in their path to success. In his free time, Hayon likes to play electric guitar, go on walks downtown, and work out.

Rijwal

Instructor
Rijwal is in his final year at Henry Wise Wood High School, desiring to pursue post-secondary studies in Software Engineering or Computer Science. He has always had a passion for mathematics since a young age and wants to motivate today’s youth to enjoy math and thrive. In his free time, he enjoys gaming, playing soccer, and spending time with his family and dog.

Shivam

Instructor
Shivam is in his final year of high school. He has a strong passion for mathematics and is considering a future career in the field. Outside of school, Shivam engages in robotics, enjoys playing basketball, and loves computer programming, applying mathematical concepts creatively. During his free time he loves listening to music, learning more about programming and watching movies.

Hazem

Instructor
Hazem is a first year undergraduate student at the University of Calgary pursuing studies in Neuroscience. He wishes to help students foster an understanding and love for learning and math that he has felt over the years himself. Outside of mathematics and tutoring, Hazem loves running, playing soccer, and travelling the world.

Tanmay

Instructor
Tanmay is in his final year of high school and has a genuine passion for math and statistics. In his free time, he goes for walks with his cat and plays volleyball with friends. Tanmay also builds robots and their circuitry for competitions. In post-secondary studies, Tanmay wants to pursue engineering and applied mathematics.
