Re-implementing COVID-19 Restrictions
Sep 16, 2021
In view of re-introduced pandemic restrictions recently announced by the Province of Alberta, we are continuing and/or re-implementing COVID-19 protocols for in-person instruction:
- use of masks by all persons (not including medical exemptions)
- physical distancing
- indoor capacity limits
- reducing touched surfaces
- disinfecting used tables and chairs after each session
- use of hand sanitizer upon entry and exit
Any student can have sessions on-line using Mathansium@home. If your child is willing and equipped, we encourage you to try the on-line approach. On-line sessions have the same instructors helping your student that are here in our Centre, using the same materials, picking up from the last page your child left off in their physical binders.
To book an on-line session, use the following link:

We will increase the capacity of bookings for on-line sessions to meet the demand.
Students can have sessions in-person but we are returning to lower capacity limits in the delivery of those in-person services, effective Thursday September 16.
We strongly recommend using our on-line booking tools, to reserve a spot for your child BEFORE arrival. Please do not drop off your child unless you know we have a spot for them.
Times have changed, with in-person sessions starting every half hour on weekdays. To book an in-person session, use the following link:

High School students who reserve a weekday spot for 6:30pm will be allowed to stay until 8:00pm for a total of 90 minutes.
Drop-in sessions will be allowed only if space is available and not already reserved. Late arrivals are not guaranteed a full hour of instruction if there is no capacity.
We appreciate your cooperation with these protocols. Our intention is to provide your child with a safe learning environment, whether in-person or on-line.
Stay healthy. Stay safe.
