Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Kate Murray, Owner

Kate is an experienced educator, who believes in the value of a good education. Having been a class room teacher, a Learning Strategist, and the Director of Teaching and Learning at an Independent school in Toronto, Kate knows how important a solid foundation in Math is, and how hard it can be to come by! There are no quick fixes for math, which is why she believes in the Mathnasium Method. Kate's centres in Forest Hill and The Beach were so successful that she decided to continue the math fun at the Leaside location to inspire students to be CRAZY about math. 

Leah Hurtubise, Education Director

Leah is an educator and has been with Mathnasium for almost 10 years. She has worked both as a classroom teacher and curriculum specialist, and has held various roles in our Mathnasium organization. Leah strives to be a positive influence in students' lives and hopes to continue to inspire them to learn and grow as individuals here at Mathnasium! Leah loves to travel and spend time with family and friends!
