Akshay

Centre Director

Akshay is an instructor at the Mathnasium in Kitchener. He qualified Masters of Mathematics, Graduate certificates in Project Management and Global Business Management from Conestoga College. He has tutoring experience of about 2 years by teaching as a Math instructor in a high school and by in-home tutoring classes. In his leisure time, he loves to solve brain riddles, reading books, cooking and travelling. Since 2018, Akshay has completed numerous Mathnasium Training levels, with his experience and dedication to helping kids learn (and understand math), he has become an invaluable team leader at our Kitchener location!

Naz

Instructor

Naz is an instructor at the Mathnasium in Kitchener. Naz has graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Mathematics and also French. She has also recently graduated teachers college and is now an Ontario Certified Teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and she shares her love for sweets (and math) with everyone.

Baljeet

Instructor

Baljeet is an Instructor at the Mathnasium in Kitchener. He received his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1995. Baljeet has been passionate about math ever since high-school and helps his two kids excel at math. In his spare time, Baljeet enjoys gardening, playing video games, basketball and reading.

Disha

Instructor

Disha is an instructor at the Mathnasium in Kitchener. Disha completed her Bachelor of Education in 2015, and since then she is working as a teacher. Disha has more than 5 years of experience teaching math. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading books and cooking.

Ritika

Instructor

Ritika joined Mathnasium as an instructor in late 2022. She has a post graduate degree in mathematics from Government college Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. She has also worked as a teacher in India for the ast 8 years. She loves music, gardening, cooking and enjoying quality time with friends in her leisure time.

Michelle

Instructor

Michelle is an Instructor at Mathnasium Kitchener. She received a Bachelor in Environmental Science and is currency enrolled as a teacher candidate at Wilfrid Laurier University. When she's not teaching math, she can be found at the rock climbing gym, biking, or outdoors identifying plants.

Olena

Instructor

Olena is an instructor at the Mathnasium in Kitchener. She completed the first year of the Applied Math program at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine, and now continues her studies at Conestoga College. Olena is passionate about teaching math. In her free time, she likes to go for rock-climbing.

Emanuela

Instructor

Emanuela is an Instructor at the Mathnasium in Kitchener. She is studying Dental hygiene at Southern Ontario Dental college. Math has been her favourite since grade school. In her spare time she loves to travel, rollerblade, and solve puzzles.

Our Mathnasium Mission
