Daniel G. Maia Filho

Instructor
Daniel is a recent graduate with a B.Sc. in Computing Science at SFU. Daniel is passionate about computing systems, how they operate under the hood, and for developing systems that interact directly with hardware and which allow us to do the things we take for granted on a computer. When not teaching, you will often find him staring at a pitch-black terminal screen filled with an apparently nonsensical mix of code, numbers, and weird symbols. Daniel also loves learning, teaching, helping others, and believes in the joy and empowerment that true learning brings when delivered with empathy, enthusiasm, and intuitiveness. Furthermore, he believes that math is not only about numbers, but about reasoning with clarity, and he is eager to help others obtain the clarity needed to succeed with math!
