My son was having troubles in math. He was reluctant to attend Mathnasium, but after one class, he said the teachers are great and he loves how he can advance through his work.My daughter is advanced in math and instantly loved the extra work at Mathnasium. We are so pleased and Manju is wonderful to deal with- understanding and kind. We highly recommend Mathnasium, whether your child is struggling or in need of enrichment!

Mathnasium has really helped my son develop his math skills. The staff are wonderful with the kids, and my son really enjoyed his bi-weekly sessions. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone looking to support their child build fundamental math skills and as an enrichment experience for kids wanting to challenge themselves.

I am so happy that my daughter has improved her math skills and has become one of the strongest math students in her class. This school year during Covid was a big concern for me as a parent. It was important to keep my daughter from not falling behind in her math and writing skills. Mathnasium helped and was definitely worth it!

My child was struggling with certain aspects of Math. Although she was good with adding and subtracting, she would struggle if the question was asked in a different way. When I saw the Mathnasium in Kerrisdale and the free assessment they were offering, I decided to take my child there. After the assessment, we found out that she indeed had trouble doing certain addition and subtraction questions as well as trouble with fractions. I enrolled her right away and I'm glad I did! She really enjoys going to Mathnasium. She receives the help she needs in the areas that require assistance. I would highly recommend Mathnasium of Kerrisdale to others because the instructors there are very friendly, professional, and teach math in a way that is fun!

I found the tutor to be very patient and knowledgeable, explaining the concepts clearly. He gave me time to practice and think through the questions before showing me how to get a correct answer. I like that he listened to how I was thinking about the problem and then explained the concept again according to where I was going right or where I was going wrong. As an adult learner, I felt comfortable in the Mathnasium centre as there was enough quietness and space to work with my tutor independently. The children who were studying with their tutors were also working hard and were not a distraction. The manager and other staff were friendly and helpful as well.

Hello. I'm Manju Ranamuka, Centre Director of Mathnasium of Kerrisdale, your neighbourhood math-only learning centre. We help kids in grades K-12 understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them.

Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting – our unique approach enables us to effectively explain math concepts well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn!
Mathnasium instructors use our unique assessment process to determine (with great accuracy) exactly what each child knows and what they need to learn. Next, we design a customized learning plan for teaching the concepts the student needs to master.
