Denise is the Centre Director at Mathnasium of Islington Village, Etobicoke. She graduated from Schulich School of Business with an MBA, and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Colegio de Estudios Superiores, in Bogota, Colombia. After a  successful career as an International Finance Director with Scotia Bank, Denise decided to switch from her corporate career to spending time with her children and volunteering at local schools and communities. In early 2018, she decided to combine her two passions: Her love for math and helping children succeed, and she decided to open her own Mathnasium centre.  Denise is set to make a difference in children’s daily lives, by helping them truly understand math, and by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them.
