Join our dynamic team of Math Teachers and Tutors at Mathnasium of Georgetown. We change lives everyday delivering the finest math instructions in North America to the Georgetown, Ontario community. We offer flexible working hours, a fast paced fun environment, and a great team to work with. In addition, we offer on the job and online training on the unique Mathnasium Method. Our school year work hours are Monday to Thursday 3:00 -7:30 pm and Sundays 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Our instructors work part or all of the instruction hours, and we work with their schedule. We are located just a short 11 min. drive west of Brampton in the heart of the dynamic Georgetown community. Transportation assistance can be arranged from specific locations. Candidates are required to pass a math employment test demonstrating mastery of grades 2 to 10 material, or a higher math employment test to qualify to teach grades 11 and 12. Candidates are expected to work a minimum of Two weekdays from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and must demonstrate ability to teach kids effectively. A minimum of one University Math credit is required to apply Job Type: Part-time Full time Internships and coop opportunities for STEM University/College students or Teachers College students are available.
