Daisy Pardhan

Owner/ Centre Director
Daisy Pardhan is the Owner and Director of the Crowfoot Mathnasium and Calgary North. Daisy graduated from University of Alberta in 2006 with a Bachelor of Education. She taught in Calgary classrooms for 6 years and then branched into the Educational Software industry-Mathletics. Utilizing this experience, Daisy was able to understand firsthand the disconnection between the teaching methodology in many classrooms and how students processed the curriculum. Her experience in the Educational technology space, specifically math software, allowed her to clearly understand the missing pieces and the notion that “one size does not fit all”. Daisy was captivated by the Mathnasium method and stated, “We use a personalized learning approach as each child processes and interprets math differently." Daisy’s 3 main goals at this learning centre are: - Breaking free of the fixed mindset. Children have a preconceived notion that math is hard. Mathnasium breaks through this wall, enabling children to understand the various types of mathematical strategies. - Creating a customized learning environment for each child, resulting in self satisfaction within their learning. - Providing children with a calm pleasant environment, allowing them to believe math does not have to be frustrating but enjoyable!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
