Tahereh Afjei, Centre Director 

Tahereh Afjei is the owner and Centre Director of Mathnasium of Cliffside. She has a bachelor's degree in Economics and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Saskatchewan.

Tahereh has over 25 years of experience working as a math teacher, Vice Principal, and Principal in different schools across the world. She also has many years of experience teaching Mathematics in the International Bachelorette (IB) system.

Tahereh started her teaching career in order to put her passion for teaching & her love of math together.  She is dedicated to helping children and teens in her community and wants to see their success. A good understanding of mathematics gives us the power of reasoning, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.

Her hobbies are hiking, swimming, listening to music, & baking.
