About Our Centre
Mathnasium of Burlington, has been offering Math learning, Tutoring and Homework help – to Catch Up! Get Ahead! Stay Ahead! Our expert math staff is passionate about helping kids in Burlington, ON community improve and excel in math through year-round and short term specialized math programs.
Our name illustrates our belief that just as physical exercise is required to develop strong muscles, it is equally important to “exercise” child’s mind to develop strong “math muscles.”
We welcome students from KG to Grade 12 and help them build Math skills and strengthen their love for learning Math.
At our centre student’s learn and understand how Math concepts work through various strands. We help children build confidence and love for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
Gifted students come here for a challenging and enrichment program, which helps stimulate their inquisitive brains and unlock their true potential. Others are helped by our knowledgeable instructors to overcome their challenge and become more confident. Our caring team helps them to catch up and get ahead. We also offer home work help and test (EQAO / SAT etc.) preparation to achieve success at school.

The program is designed to challenge students that are good at maths which help them love math more. My kids don't find it drag, boring or repetitive.
Admin wise I would like to see more flexibility with the schedule. Otherwise the center is accommodating and the manager Vineet listens to our needs.

I believe that Mathnasium has helped our grandson in gaining confidence in math, and for the last two years, he has accomplished A+ on his final report cards from school.
One thing that is lacking lately are the reports on Mastery Checks performed. I have not seen any reports of Mastery Checks since March 17, 2022, and therefore is a bit in the dark as to how our grandson is progressing.

Mathnasium has always been helpful in dealing with various issues over the course of a few years. Most importantly, our grandson has gained confidence in his math skills, and his grade has also improved to A+ at the end of his last school year.
However, their Progress Report can be a challenge to understand, and I wish that they will work towards a report that can be easier to understand, and therefore more useful in monitoring the students' progress.

I am happy to see that my 10 years old son is getting interested in math and likes to come to his session at mathnesium. Staff are knowledgeable amd encouraging, specially the award set baes on number of stars earned makes him more motivated. I am also pleased that I can bring his math worksheet from school before a major math test. It is nice to see a functional math program.

For my kids - having the base in maths is what was most important for a busy family. As an academic - I am fully capable of taking on the teaching of lol math concepts to my children but time being the most important resource - I struggle to have a disciplined schedule to have a free head to sit down and do it properly. Mathnasium with its child friendly and drop in flexible schedule has made it work for us. I would still like my kids to notch up their grades a little but they are getting there.

Found the staff to have excellent communication skills, explaining concepts in simple and clear ways, very friendly and accommodating. My son felt safe with all the safety measures in place with the in class tutoring. Would absolutely recommend mathnasium! Vineet you and your staff are truly amazing!!!

I highly recommend Mathnasium. After trying different math programs for my son, I finally found Mathnasium that is a perfect fit for us. My son who is in Grade 11, was concerned at first about getting help. But once he attended the sessions he realized how many foundational building blocks he was missing. He now feels very confident and is excited to go to each session. As a parent I like that my son is taught the problems in a way that he can turn around and teach someone else instead of just rote memory. He is comprehending the mathematical information which is giving him the confidence he needs to be successful.

Absolutely positive experience- no matter the student level you own it, the path to help and get them successful. Change strategies mid way to adapt new way specially my kid is in gr 9 and to finish a Math curriculum in 10 weeks is overwhelming to any kid so more impact on a kid who’s not into it! Mathnasium peeps stayed sharp focused on customizing ways out of that.
My kid resisted receiving help at the begging but now tells me I’d rather Mathnasium than anywhere else.

Lukas feels far more confident in math as a result of working with this program.
He really enjoys the individual tutors he works with and likes being at the center.
The program adjusts to the needs of the student academically but also with respect to their extracurricular activities such as work or other interests/athletics.
Parents are kept very updated on their child’s progress and attendance.
This program is managed with a lot of pride and confidence in their ability to help a student achieve specific goals in math. The importance of all subjects and study skills is also encouraged .

Vineet and his team have been steadfast in their commitment to help our 9 year old reach his goals. I’m consistently impressed at how my son’s resistance to actually do any real work does not phase them and they are unwavering in their assistance. I have 2 children enrolled at Mathnasium. One struggles in math and the other child receives enrichment. I can honestly say that Mathnasium is fantastic for both children who struggle as well as for kids who love and are good at math. Either way, Mathnasium motivates children and makes math fun. A superb program.

My daughter struggles with Math and therefore "hates" it. She is a hard nut to crack and is fighting the learning process a fair bit.
We started at Mathnasium about a month ago, the staff are patient and helpful she seems to focus well for the time she is there. (even though still complaining either side of it)
While waiting I see the smiles of accomplishment on the other kids faces and know that at some point we will get there as well.
