Tania Hayek

Tania Hayek

Centre Director
Tania is Centre Director and an Instructor at Mathnasium of Castlemore. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher and earned her BEd and BSc majoring in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Toronto. Tania’s passion and work experience both lie in math education, so she is committed to and excited about making math make sense! She has been teaching high school math since 2016 and has previous experience working as a Mathnasium Instructor with students in all grade levels. When Tania is not tackling math problems, she enjoys baking, watching soccer, and spending time with her family.

Mary Daher

Instructor
Mary is a student at the university of Toronto studying pharmacology and toxicology. Growing up Mary has always had an interest in math and now she wishes to share her knowledge and experience through instructing. In her spare time Mary enjoys reading, drawing and spending time with friends and family. Mary has had experience teaching math to many other students in high school, she claims math to be an exciting and challenging puzzle to solve and hopes to instill that same excitement into the students here at Mathnasium.

Sukhraj Dulay

Instructor
Sukhraj is an Instructor at the Mathnasium of Castlemore. He aspires to pursue a career in the mathematics field, specifically in Statistics and Computer Sciences! He has been working with students for several years within his school and is excited to be teaching at Mathnasium. During his free time, Sukhraj enjoys going on hikes/walks, watching movies, and researching more about topics like machine learning!

Meera Mehta

Instructor
Meera is a student at the University of Waterloo pursuing studies in honours mathematics. She developed a passion for teaching math while helping fellow students at her high school. Ever since, she has wanted to share that same passion with students throughout her community. In her spare time, Meera enjoys baking, going for hikes and runs, playing softball and reading. Her goal is to help students at Mathnasium get excited about problem-solving in the world around them!

Amisha Anand

Instructor
Amisha is a student pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. From a young age she has loved to work with numbers to challenge herself and find a solution. Through her role as an instructor at Mathnasium, Amisha strives to work with students of all ages with the hope to foster that same interest in them. In her free time, Amisha enjoys dancing, playing soccer, as well as baking!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
