Jerry is extremely attentive to our daughters’ needs and flexible with scheduling. He offers effective advice and truly cares about their success. My daughter used to struggle in Math. Now, she loves Math and are now taking the harder math subjects in high school. She’s even thinking of taking Engineering in Post Secondary instead of Architecture. Whichever course she decides, I’m quite happy with the results with her tutoring with Mathnasium.

My daughter Alexis has a better understanding about Math since she joined Mathnesium. Her grades at school have improved a lot from proficient to extending. The teachers from Mathnesium are very nice and patient to students. I definitely recommend Mathnesium to parents who’s children are struggling in Math.

I recommend Richmond Mathnasium to all parents who are interested to have their kids improve their math skills. I don't know the individual instructors, but I know Jerry the head teacher and manager, who is such a wonderful person, full of energy and positivism! You can feel that he is there to help kids feel better and do better at math. My two kids have been attending Mathnasium for a few weeks now, and they are both happy and excited about their experience.

Mathnasium has given my daughter so much more confidence in herself as a learner. Math is now one of her preferred subjects at school! We appreciate so much their positive approach to teaching and thoroughness as they cover every detail in the curriculum. As a parent, the detailed monthly reports give me an excellent understanding of how she is actually doing in this subject. Highly recommended!

We heard about Mathnasium through a friend of ours and decided to give it a try. We are impressed with the amount of time that goes into the individualized lesson planning and the communication with the parents on progress. Our daughter really enjoys her time there and says that the instructors are all very patient and helpful at supporting concepts in multiple different ways.

Mathnesium changed my girls perspective towards Math, they are now more confident and continually doing progress with their tests and class participation .
Their school teachers noticed the difference and mentioned it during the conference. As their parents, we are so happy about the progress and their confidence, we should have started Mathnesium sooner.

Mathnasium is an excellent centre for kids to build up their math skills. My daughter had tried previous math classes and I’d have to literally drag her out of the house, she did not like them at all. Since she started Mathnasium almost a year ago she’s so happy to go to class, she’s learning at a pace that impresses her and even shows her friends at school how confident (and accurate) she’s become at math. Honestly if you want kids learning math, and loving math, this is the place !

My daughter goes to Mathnasium twice a week and she is getting the one on one attention she needs from teachers she understands. Mathnasium has been very accommodating and flexible as they help my daughter to understand and complete her math homework, review and work on curriculum grade appropriate skills, or simply just work on the Mathnasium learning plan. Mathnasium has been a constant for her, a place to practice and make mistakes and practice again and again. Mathnasium has been invaluable.

Mathnasium had given my daughter more confidence in her Math abilities. I’ve seen an improvement in her being able to carry out operations that she had trouble with prior to starting the program. School has been difficult this year with all of the restrictions and restructuring how the kids will be taught. Tony and his team of instructors have kept my son on top of his math skills so that he is better prepared for next year. With the schools moving to a quarter term the condensed classes are intense then they don’t have the class again until next school year. Mathnasium keeps math in his focus so he doesn’t forget any of his studies.

For over a year and a half now my daughter and son have been atttending Mathnasium. Over the course of this time, I have been happy with their experience there. Not only have both my kids improved in their Math skills, but I feel that the way Tony (the owner of the Blunder branch) has provided both emotional and intellectual support for my kids has been excellent. Not only has Tony been flexible with scheduling for my kids, but he has also been able to support my kids needs in many different ways. For example, just recently with the COVID restrictions, Tony was able to switch to both online and face to face support, while maintaining his standards of excellence in service, professionalism and safety. Only 7 months in, I have noticed my daughter, who struggles with Math, has been feeling increasingly confident about her math skills. She now knows some strategies to use to find an answer instead of guessing answers randomly and incorrectly and she can explain her thinking. Thanks to patient and helpful tutors who make learning fun, my daughter looks forward to sessions and battles to do math at home with me have ended. Kudos to Tony for providing online sessions through Covid and for being flexible with tutoring times!
