I’m so pleased we chose Mathnasium for our son’s tutoring. They have been nothing but amazing! He has been attending for almost four years, graduating this year, with a score approaching 100%! During the pandemic, unfortunately our son had a lot of gaps and his understanding and faith in math was declining. The capable, wonderful and knowledgeable instructors at Mathnasium (special thanks to Cassandra) helped him overcome his difficulties and instilled the love for mathematics in him. We are so grateful for Mathnasium because they didn’t just help our son improve his grades, they rebuilt the foundation for mathematical practice and helped him develop critical thinking. My son has been going to A+Mathenasium for almost 1 year. He started when he was in grade 4. He has learned a lot, and his mark in Math at school went from a B to a B+ . The owners are great! and super helpful. They are also very accommodating if you have to change a day or time. The math instructors are all very knowledgeable in math and make learning math fun!

I called and spoke to Cassandra who was so informative and gave me so much information about the program initially. I had so many questions as my son has an IEP, and she was very patient and understanding. Mariaelisa called me back shortly after addressing my concerns with so much care and relevant information in regards to my sons learning disability. It immediately felt like home.
My son has been going now for a couple of months, and while he comes out of school down at times, he comes out on such a high here with the positive reinforcement he needs to keep going and gain the confidence he needs. They are so wonderful with him, and he is gaining the confidence he needs to succeed and catch up in Math for school.
I will definitely be continuing with Mathnasium of Newmarket for a long time. Our last visit, my son had a bad day at school and Karl turned things around for my son and made sure I knew that things went well when I picked him up.
The best part of all is the incredible role models they have in there as instructors. My son can literally work with anyone of them so well because they are all equally amazing. I cannot say enough about how positive this experience has been.

I give Mathnasium Newmarket an A+!!! My daughter has been attending for almost two months, and I’ve already noticed a difference in not only math, but in her work ethic and confidence! Tara has started math tutoring in February. She was looking to improve her grades in preparation for grade 11 and to better understand the concepts.
She has been working with Cassandra and she is amazing! She has a way to make maths make sense and to understand better. Since Cassandra understands French, this makes it easier for Tara’s homeworks. Her last three exams were A-, A+ and A+. Tara loves going to math class. It helped her build her confidence and the love for maths.
Thank you Mathnesium and Cassandra.

My grandson loves going to Mathnasium. He is learning new math skills with every session . He has lost learning from Covid and is catching up on basic skills which need to be enforced as they are the foundation for moving ahead. He is so happy and feels good about himself when he understands the concepts of math.

My son’s confidence has increased since he started receiving supportive lessons at Mathnasium. His marks are consistently in the higher grading scale and his teacher at school has noticed an increase in participation due to his newly achieved ability to better follow up, understand, draw conclusions and offer solutions.
We are very satisfied with our decision to enroll our son at Mathnasium! His tutor is kind, supportive and brilliant. She helped in boosting his confidence and love for math. During the pre- Mathnasium period, math was a challenge, a worry and even a burden. Now it’s a breeze. Math time is anticipated because it finally makes sense!

The Newmarket Margnasium staff have been fantastic! Due to a poor teacher the year before our granddaughter has given up on learning and lost her self confidence . Given everything going on, they've been flexible, they've been great at communicating changes, and they've worked extremely hard to accommodate the switch back and forth between in person and virtual learning.
On top of all that, we've noticed a marked improvement in our son's ability to perform common mathematical functions in everyday life - simple things like making change and grocery shopping, to using math to describe things he's talking about and helping his younger brother with homework. We're really impressed.

We can see a great improvement from Charlotte with her mental math and understanding math concepts. Also her confidence in math has also improved which is great to see. Thank you Mathnasium! Mathnasium of Newmarket has exceeded our expectations in terms of the help that they have provided to our daughter with her Grade 12 math tutoring. Giovanni (her tutor) was able to help my daughter regain her confidence with her math skills and for the first time since entering high school, we have seen first hand her confidence in tackling her math homework. She no longer avoids doing the homework because of a lack of confidence in her skills and this has also helped to boost her overall confidence in herself. Mariaelisa assured us from the beginning that they would go back to assess ALL areas in math where my daughter would need help (not just her current course material) in order to build her confidence back up and ensure success with her current course material.
My only regret is that we did not find Mathnasium sooner, as if she had received this level of help starting in grade 9, I'm sure it would have made a huge difference not only in her marks, but also in her confidence to tackle any math subject. Now she knows that if she needs any help with math courses in university, she has an organization that she can rely on in order to help her succeed.

Mariaelisa has been great in addressing all of our questions and works really hard to reach out to all students and their parents. She is open to feedback and suggestions and is always a pleasure to talk to and work with.
I do see an email for feedback that I received few days ago but never filled out the survey. It was brought to my attention that I rated Mathnasium as a 0 which I am not sure how that happened. I do have a 13 month old who plays on my phone while I change his diaper, so not sure if he might have clicked something? He has changed settings on my phone and sadly disabled it for an hour at a time.
No complaints with Mathnasium here, infact Mariaelisa is very accommodating and always a pleasure to talk to.
