I find that the content is much more closely related to what our daughter is learning in school and I’m happy that you have contact with her teacher and vice versa to help with tutoring and test prep… So it’s just an all around positive experience that seems to be reflected in her marks at school. Regular one on one guidance in a structured and fun environment has given my son more confidence in problem solving and understanding math concepts that he had fell behind in, for a variety of reasons, in the school system. This practice and study also helped him set himself up for success with work in other subjects, too.

My son has been attending Mathnasium for one year now, and we’re so happy with the growth he’s experienced. Both his abilities and his confidence in math have skyrocketed. Mathnasium has been a game-changer for my son. His struggles in math, brought on during the pandemic school pause, left him feeling defeated in school. The wonderful instructors at Mathnasium have worked to fill in his learning gaps and build his confidence in his abilities to solve math problems on his own. I'm so impressed with the progress he's made over the last six months.

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for 5 years now. This year, her course load at school is very heavy and she needs to focus more energy towards that and can't attend Mathnasium sessions as regularly. I contacted Mathnasium about this and they are accommodating her new commitments. They've been nothing short of amazing.

Mathnasium has given my daughter the confidence to approach her classroom math assignments with a can-do attitude. We no longer deal with panic attacks about approaching math assignments, and the look of pride on our girl’s face when she comes home with a great mark (or no homework) is priceless. Mathnasium was the most helpful for my older son when he was taking his pre-calculus and calculus classes. He commented every week that it helped to have the reinforcement of topics. Now that he is not in any math classes for awhile - he finds it not as useful.... but I have kept him in it as I think Covid has put him behind.... which he understands as well. Some ongoing math exposure is beneficial and he does not seem to get that from school.
My younger son absolutely loves Mathnasium. He looks forward to it every single time still. I only put him in it as a way to get him out of the house and doing some activities again. But he gets great joy out of math and it is helping him find his groove again. Thank you!

The program flexibility is great - in person or at home the kids get the same level of support. The ratio of instructors to students is conducive to everyone getting what they need. We loved that they could be working on general math concepts or specific homework/test material.
We've had three children who used math supports and two who went to Mathnasium. My advice to parents is 'don't wait!' Whether your kid needs help getting up to grade level, help with specific math concepts or extra challenge - the longer you wait the faster the student's confidence erodes. After our first one needed help, we were quick to intervene with the others so the gap between them and their class didn't take long to cover. Mathnasium also ensured our kids had a solid understanding of math fundamentals so learning new concepts in the future was easier. As parents, we felt reassured that our kids were at the right level for their age.

I watch my daughter's confidence in math grow as she continues to work with the knowledgeable staff. I have also appreciated the flexibility in the program, early assessment when she gets bored, ongoing encouragement and a few fun things thrown in. A great program to build both skills and confidence

I’ve been very please with my daughters progress and the confidence it’s given her. Her teachers have already commented they see improvement in class as well. I would defiantly recommend and continue. My daughter likes the little rewards along the way as well. I think she would like to see more of them ;)

According to his report card, my son was not struggling with math. With a wide variety of needs in his class, I was unsure that the teacher was actually making headway in the curriculum for his grade level. When he started Mathnasium, the instructors quickly found a few areas that my son needed help with and some concepts that he didn’t know. He is now up to grade level on every aspect of math. We will continue with Mathnasium for this year to keep him challenged appropriately. Thanks to all the great instructors.

Mathnasium is great and it is really helping my daughter. She used to hate math but that has changed and now she doesn't mind and she's even enjoying it sometimes because she's getting better at it. I know it's a time of Covid but I only gave you 9 out of 10 because scheduling appointments is really hard for us due to our other daughter's extracurricular schedule. I thought drop in was much better but I understand how you can't do this right now.

My daughter started Mathnasium with a Grade 9 math mark of 51%. She has been attending mathnasium 4-5x a week since May of 2019. Fast forward to today’s date, she stills attends Mathnasium 4-5x a week, but online now, and she currently has a school math mark of 82%. If this doesn’t prove just how great Mathnasium has worked for her then I don’t know what will..we are so glad we had enrolled our daughter in Mathnasium. She even enjoys math now and looks forward to her classes..which is definitely a first for her! The staff are great (according to my daughter) and Nathan has made this process super easy and he makes sure that our family is getting the most out of Mathnasium. Our daughter will continue to attend right up until she graduates high school.

Although our son prefers to do his Mathnasium at the actual building, he his thoroughly enjoying the new experience of doing it online. I'm sooooo glad to have Mathnasium continue to be a normalcy in his life as it was before Covid-19. It certainly continues to show in his online studies with school. The kids still had a lot of schooling left after the schools were forced to close, so we as parents are very glad a suitable Mathnasium online program was a fairly seamless transition.
