Mathnasium of Airdrie students achieved success in the 2019 Math competition University of Waterloo

Mathnasium of Airdrie students participated in the 2019 Math competition organized by The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing of the University of Waterloo. This is an opportunity to provide the students with additional challenge and help them to measure up with students within and outside the country.
The centre enrolled four students in this year competition of which two got outstanding achievement certificate and the remaining to received distinction. Their parents were in attendance during certificate presentation and they express appreciation to Mathnasium of Airdrie team for making an extra effort to provide this opportunity.
The competition is recognized internationally to inspire the next generation of students to develop an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer science. The competition is in different category starting from Grade 7.
The Centre Director said Mathnasium of Airdrie planned to enroll more students in 2020 competition.
Mathnasium of Airdrie is an after-school Math – only learning Centre and is part of more than 1,000 Centres in North American that is helping thousands of children to learn mathematics and transform their lives. Our goal is to help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking, and master Math.
