Yetunde Adegoju

Yetunde Adegoju

Co-owner/Centre Director
Yetunde Adegoju is a highly experienced and accomplished educator currently serving as Mathnasium Airdrie's co-owner and Centre Director. With a solid educational background and a wealth of teaching experience, Yetunde is dedicated to providing students with a solid foundation in mathematics and helping them achieve their full potential. Yetunde's educational journey began with a Master's in Biochemistry, which provided her with a solid scientific background. She further honed her teaching skills by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, equipping her with the tools to impart knowledge to students effectively. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Yetunde has developed a deep understanding of various teaching methodologies and approaches. Her expertise lies in mathematics and science, and she has previously served as a mathematics instructor in a specialized school in the United Kingdom. This experience has allowed her to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, enabling her to tailor her teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. In addition to her teaching career, Yetunde has also worked as a child counsellor in CASA, Alberta. This role has provided her with valuable insights into students' emotional and psychological well-being, allowing her to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Yetunde's passion for mathematics and commitment to student success is evident in her teaching approach. She believes in fostering a love for the subject by making it engaging, relatable, and accessible to all students. Her patient and supportive nature create a safe space for students to ask questions, seek clarification, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. Her commitment to providing students with a strong foundation in mathematics and her nurturing and supportive approach made her and her husband establish Mathnasium Airdrie in 2017. She currently volunteers in various groups within the community. Married and blessed with a daughter.

Aurora Knight

Lead Instructor
Aurora Knight is a dedicated and passionate individual pursuing her engineering degree at the prestigious University of Calgary. With a strong background in mathematics and a genuine love for teaching, she has taken on the role of Lead Instructor at Mathnasium Airdrie. As an engineering student, Aurora possesses a deep understanding of complex mathematical concepts and their practical applications. Her academic excellence and problem-solving skills make her an ideal candidate for guiding students through various mathematical challenges. With her patient and friendly demeanour, Aurora creates a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance. She tailors her teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style, ensuring that they grasp mathematical concepts effectively.

Caleb Martin

Math Instructor
Caleb is currently pursuing a degree in Engineering at the esteemed University of Calgary. With a strong background in high school mathematics and a passion for teaching, he has taken on the role of an instructor at Mathnasium of Airdrie. As an engineering student, Caleb recognizes the importance of a solid foundation in mathematics for success in various fields, including engineering. He is passionate about helping students develop a strong understanding of mathematical principles and problem-solving techniques. In his role as an instructor at Mathnasium of Airdrie, Caleb creates a supportive and engaging learning environment for his students. He tailors his teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style, ensuring that they grasp mathematical concepts effectively. Caleb's patient and approachable nature makes students comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification.

Funmi Agunlejika

Math Instructor
Funmi Agunlejika is a highly skilled and experienced instructor at SAIT. With a strong educational background and a genuine passion for teaching, Funmi has dedicated her career to inspiring and educating students in the field of engineering. Having spent many years as an instructor, Funmi has honed her teaching skills and developed a deep understanding of various instructional methods. She has a natural ability to connect with students of all ages, particularly those in elementary and middle grades. Funmi's love for working with elementary and middle-grade students stems from her belief in the importance of building a strong foundation in STEM subjects from an early age. She understands that these formative years are crucial for sparking curiosity and nurturing a passion for engineering and technology.

OwenStevenson

Math Instructor
Owen Stevenson is a dedicated and accomplished individual passionate about mathematics and teaching. He has set his sights on pursuing a dual degree in Kinesiology and Commerce at the prestigious University of Calgary. Having successfully completed Math 31, Owen possesses a solid understanding of advanced mathematical concepts. His exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset make him an ideal candidate for guiding students through various mathematical challenges. Owen's passion for teaching and his love for mathematics led him to join Mathnasium as a Math Instructor. He is committed to helping students develop a strong foundation in math and empowering them to excel in the subject. Outside of his role as a Math Instructor, Owen enjoys staying active and participating in various sports and physical activities.

Israel Adegbola

Math Instructor
Israel is a bright and brilliant young man with a deep love for mathematics and a passion for teaching. He aspires to pursue a degree at a university where he can further develop his knowledge and skills in mathematics. Israel's affinity for math is evident in his exceptional aptitude. He has a natural ability to grasp complex mathematical concepts and quickly solve intricate problems. His passion for mathematics fuels his desire to share knowledge and help others understand and appreciate the subject's beauty. With his strong foundation in mathematics, Israel is eager to embark on a journey of higher education. Israel's dedication to his studies, his thirst for knowledge and his desire to teach others make him an excellent Mathnasium Math Instructor.

Sage Jackson

Lead Instructor
Sage Jackson is a dedicated and passionate individual currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Calgary. With a strong background in mathematics and a deep interest in its applications, Sage has become an experienced Mathnasium Lead Instructor, specializing in teaching students how to apply math to technology, arts, and science. Sage's love for mathematics and its practical applications led him to pursue a degree in Computer Science. He recognizes the fundamental role that math plays in the field of technology and is eager to explore how mathematical concepts can be utilized to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions. With his passion for mathematics, dedication to teaching, and commitment to exploring math applications in technology, arts, and science, Sage Jackson is a highly valued Mathnasium Lead Instructor. His ability to inspire and guide students in understanding the practical side of math sets them on a path toward success in their academic and professional endeavours. Outside of his academic and teaching pursuits, Sage enjoys music.
