Our Team

Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:


    Yetunde Adegoju, Centre Director

Yetunde is Co-owner/Center Director at Mathnasium of Airdrie. She has more than 15 years of classroom experience, teaching science and mathematics. She taught in Mathematics specialized school in the United Kingdom. She previously worked as a counsellor in CASA, Alberta, a major community-based provider of support for infants, children, adolescents and their families in Alberta. Also, briefly worked in the Oil and Gas as Lab Analyst in the petroleum lab.

Yetunde has Masters in Bio Chemistry, Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Diploma in Environmental Technology.

Her passion is teaching, coaching, mentoring and helping children to succeed. Yetunde believes that a good education allows children to achieve their maximum potential in life, and Mathnasium provides a great opportunity for children to excel.

She currently volunteers in various groups within the community.

Married and blessed with a daughter.

 

Albert Scutt,  Lead Math Instructor

Albert is a passionate mathematician with many years of tutoring experience. He currently holds a Bachelor of Education Physics, Math, Computer Science and Bachelor of Science - Exploration Geophysics, University of Regina.

 

Albert believes that math should be taught in a fun, accessible and intuitive way that encourages understanding over memorization. Math shouldn't be scary, and any student can both understand and enjoy math. He hopes to change current stigmas and inspire a passion for the subject with tutoring and believes in the Mathnasium principles and strategies.

 

 

 

 

  Lolu Lasisi, Math Instructor

 Lolu is a fun and encouraging individual, who believes that anyone can learn Mathematics if they are tutored properly, have the willingness to learn and believe in themselves. Lolu has substantial years of tutoring mathematics. He also has a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Accounting, as well as, a Master's Degree in Computer information systems.

Lolu hopes that by working with Mathnasium, he can spread the joy and knowledge of Mathematics, and help students build their confidence in the subject.

 Sage Jackson, Math Instructor
 

Sage is an Engineering Student at the University of Calgary.
He tutored kids in junior and senior high for many years and enjoys mentoring kids and helping them to understand difficult concepts.

Sage loves playing piano and received multiple awards at Olds Kiwanis Music Festival for piano, singing, musical theatre, and composition. He achieved second place in singing for boys under 12 and second place for grade 9 piano.

 
 Inioluwa Adedapo, Math Instructor
 

Inioluwa Adedapo is a Master of Architecture student at the University of Calgary School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape. A graphic designer, educator, and architect-in-training, Inioluwa’s research interests and work is centred around matters of sustainability, technology and humanity, as well as education in architecture. She is a regular volunteer at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Student Association and volunteers for the Design Matters Series in Calgary.

She is a past scholar of the Stephen Awokoya Foundation for Science Education 2018, and a recipient of the University of Calgary's Entrance Award and the Brian R. Sinclair Graduate Scholarship in Environmental Design. In 2020, Inioluwa co-initiated a learning platform where she facilitates training in select areas.
