We are hiring Math Teachers/Instructors at Mathnasium of Airdrie.

Excellent opportunity for Certified teachers, university students, and university graduates from programs with a heavy math content (High school diploma should not apply). We are recognized by Service Canada as contributors to STEM.

Instructors are part-time employees who typically work between 8 to 20 hours per week. Our operation hour is between Mondays to Fridays (3 pm - 7:00 pm) each week commencing in September. Instructors are required to commit to at least 8 hours a week.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to teach math at any or all levels. Positions available for elementary Math Instructors and for high school Math Instructors
• Candidates must undertake an employment Math Assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and build a rapport with parents, colleagues, and students of all ages.
• Passionate about math and education.
• Willingness to learn and apply the "Mathnasium Method" is essential
• Previous teaching experience or other experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counsellor, etc.)
• Must provide Police Vulnerable Sector Check, if offered employment.
