Leah Hurtubise

Centre Owner

Leah is an educator and has been with Mathnasium for over a decade. She has worked both as a classroom teacher and curriculum specialist, and has held various roles in our Mathnasium organization. Leah strives to be a positive influence in students' lives and hopes to continue to inspire them to learn and grow as individuals here at Mathnasium. Leah loves to travel and spend time with family and friends!

Michael

Hello everyone! My name is Michael and when I'm not helping our students become crazy about math, I love listening to tons of music from Pop, Dance/Electeonic, Rock, Oldies, & even Jazz. I’m obsessed with the shows The Office & Breaking Bad and am a big Marvel Buff! I also take a keen interest in art, graphic design, architecture, and photography - basically any creative outlet that involves self expression. And last but not least, to no surprise…… Math was (and still is) my favourite subject in school and I’m looking to further express my interests in mathematics toward my future endeavours as a full time Teacher! Pleased to meet you all!

Fatima

Centre Director

Fatima is an Electrical Engineering student currently completing her final year at Toronto Metropolitan University. Fatima has been a member of the Mathnasium family for 4 years, starting as an Instructor and growing into the role of Centre Director! Fatima loves to see how much we can change lives by fostering a love of math...its all about that "lightbulb" moment! Fatima loves good food and family fun, she is also very creative and artistic!

Marko

Instructor

Marko has been a member of the Leaside team for over a year and loves supportung kids achieve their goals at Mathnasium! Marko studied Computer Engineering and loves to discuss how math can be applied in so many ways in life.

Fatima F

Lead Instructor

Fatima has a passion for education and helping kids develop confidence in math and in learning. She is currently studying to Education at York University and holds a degree in Mathematics from U of Toronto. Fatima is always there to support our team and help students reach their potential at Mathnasium!
